One of many songs that was popular for about 3 months and everyone forgot about it (except us few who check it out!). I still have this song on a 45 RPM. Also "Good Girls Don't" is an excellent song. Unfortunate that "My Sharona" is th only song associated with the Knack today, though it is a good song, too.

My mention of "Get The Knack" was in reference to my comments about their debut album and how every song on it is a true gem. While the songs on their follow-up album - BTLGU - were generally very good, not EVERY one was as stellar as those on GTK.
dogdyedblack- Yours is a very astute analysis of the band. I was working at a big chain record store (a nearly by-gone entity, these days) when The Knack broke out! They were HUGE and we sold a ton of the records and even more 45's ( all you young 'uns who are clueless can Google "45 rpm")! They were even hailed as "The Next Beatles", Well, THAT never came to pass, but EVERY song on 'Get The Knack" is awesome...great lead vocal, tight harmonies. wailing guitars and a driving beat. Cool!

Hey I like the 45 record cover at the end. I remember when this album came out in Feb.1980, and a few radio stations played it in it's entirety, the release of the Knack's second album was a big deal.
This song was all over the radio my sophmore year in high school. In fact it came out the same time I found a Penthouse mag in a gym locker, which I took home. Too bad my parents ended up finding it.

E invece la gente che non capiva un emerito ceppo, da lì in poi li ha snobbati.
