I love this loose type of watercolor!! I have been able to do it sometimes, and then the other times I start overthinking it and find myself tight and doing WAY more detail then I wanted. But I love this so much :) gorgeous!

Many take watercolor on a journey, I like to have the watercolor take me on one. So yep pun was intended. Thanks for tuning in.
I too paint the S.O.P. method. I have not had art class and have learned so much from tutorials and a wonderful watercolour group. You taught me something with thus tutorial that I have never paid attention to.mixing warm and cool colour! I am so guilty of making muddy messes. I need to learn about warm and cool. It might help if I knew what was in palette lol. When I use that much water the paper buckles and bends and creates huge puddles. What paper are you using here?
SOP? Help me out, I haven’t had my coffee yet 😂. Ah, the dredged mud, yes mixing warm and cool can create mud, as well as to many colors that come together can do this. Also, play attention to your opaque colors, they will create mud.
The best paper is 100% cotton. I recommend Fabriano.

What was the name of that favorit red?
Do you know around 140 into your picture you had those little red dots you could’ve stopped and let everything dry right there because that looked pretty incredible. And I also want to add you are an artist and incredible artist it’s just it at that point it looked pretty incredible the way it was I would’ve let it dry and then start working around. Keep doing what you’re doing you’re doing great just adding my two cents
Oh geez, I could have stopped so many times lol...but I can't help myself. Sometimes it turns into a hot mess, somethings it works out. It's all about just having fun and enjoying the journey the color takes you on. Thanks for tuning in!!! have a blessed day.
