    Cheers brother!

    • @SmokyRibsBBQ
      @SmokyRibsBBQ  8 місяців тому +1

      Believe it or not, I only used 1/2 of a tank for both boils. If you noticed once I got the water boiling then I choked the gas way back to maintain a decent boil while cooking the veggies but when the actual crawfish go in I crank it up for the 4 total minutes it takes to boil them then they just soak with no fire so it really doesn’t take as much gas as one would think.

    That burner doesn't freeze your propane tanks? I had to buy a propane tank splitter hose for my setup with a 10-inch banjo burner. I replaced that 20psi regulator with a 60psi. You got me looking at that pot, though. That brazier set up they have looks awesome.

    • @SmokyRibsBBQ
      @SmokyRibsBBQ  8 місяців тому

      I had no issues with the tank freezing. I started with a full tank, and the longest it ran at full throttle was the 8 minutes to get it up to a boil. I choked the gas way back to maintain a boil for the sides, then right before the crawfish went in, I cranked it up, and 4 minutes later, I turned it off to let them soak. I would imagine if your tank is really low on gas then it could present a freezing problem but I didn’t have any. I normally use my 30 pound bottle but on this cook I used a 20 pound tank.

    • @Offsetter
      @Offsetter 8 місяців тому

      @SmokyRibsBBQ
      Thanks, that clears up a lot. I noticed that rig running a 30psi regulator, so I'm just focusing on the wrong thing. Awesome cook and great cooker man. I got to get me one.
