    The reason for putting Sake is to remove the smell of meat. If you cannot use alcohol, please add more ginger.

    I had to laugh at "I couldn't find ginger so I will use onion." In Japanese, "no ginger" is the same as "it can't be helped". So "shoga nai" is "shoga nai".

      @@rieinnn onigiri are so delicious! They sell them in the 7/11 stores in Japan for example and they are really tasty. But they have also added them to the stores here in Germany lately and they are also not bad either. So maybe you'll even be able to find a good onigiri version where you live :)

    If you are worried about all the popping you can get a mesh cover for the pan. It also keeps the oil from splashing everywhere.
    Love this channel. I always wanted to know how to do karaage my friends at college that were exchange students used to make this for me and takoyaki too.

My baby is 22 months old so what he does is he goes to the kitchen & pulls me to get out of the kitchen so I can play & be around him. It’s cute but soo hard to get things done. Lol

    I can’t wait to try this recipe! I love the idea of keeping partially prepped chicken in the freezer.
    I no longer have children to cook for but I make my lunch every day because I work from home and this will be a exciting addition to my lunches

    I just found your channel, and I'm so glad I did!! I currently have a 6 month old baby girl and it's hard to find time to cook. I love how simple this recipe is, and therefore easy to make with a little one! Usually with fried chicken you have to go back and forth between the flour and egg and make a big mess... I love how it's all done in a bag here. So much easier!

      Dude it is not that difficult. Many people even crack eggs with one hand while the other hand doing something else. Just practice. You will get it.

      What you find not difficult may not be that easy for other people. I've been practicing for the past 15 years, still couldn't get it right. Not everyone is the same.

      Depends also on quality of eggs, as that does influence shells. Older eggs, washed eggs can have a inner layer of something that hold its together more and prevents one line crack and instead cracks like a cobweb.

      @@halfey try to crack the egg on a flat surface. You'll see, it is easier and you won't have any shell parts in your eggs.
