I used to LOVE the water and swiimming. I was always so insecure to compete on the elite level because I was legally blind. After my eye surgeries, this passion rekindled and Im going for a long time goal-competing in the olympics in the next 4 years swimming!! I joined my local swim club to get back into competitions and shape haha but I am so excited! Once a fish always a fish :D
Elissa Binion Very very cool :)
"Get out of your head" is some of the best advice, ever. We often destroy things in our mind when in reality we really don't know if they will work out great or not -- we simply construct a reality to fit a failed narrative in our head as to why they won't.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts dn a and thanks for watching! #BelieveNation #BTA207 Shine
Great advice man.
I did pretty much the same thing. I starting talking with a bunch of people online who wrote stories. I had done comics before and always wanted to be a storyteller, but I'd, well, written off just straight up writing because I knew no one really reads, at least not in the demographic I was after.
But curiosity got the better of me so I gave it a shot anyways and loved it. I'm still hesitant to dive in all the way because I know the odds of getting anywhere with it are slim, and if I leverage my visual arts skills I'll go a lot further, but I learned I had an innate passion for manipulating language on a whim.
***** Thanks for sharing Tommy :)
***** Curious... Are you a storyteller? Do you offer storytelling services?
Evan, you rock! Your videos are awesome! Thank you for some practical advice on how to approach finding your passion, or passions. You are so right with the advice; just try things. I think a lot of us get caught up in thinking and trying to figure out our passion in our heads, instead of getting out and getting ENGAGED in something.
Keep up the great work, and thank you!
Tom
Tom Sweeney Thanks for sharing Tom :)
Tom Sweeney Yeah that's so true, I'm guilty of trying to think through all of the possibilities in my head and not taking any real chances. This video and channel helped a lot.
All I can picture now is Jim Carey in "Yes Man" running and saying "Red Bull". Great video and message.
New Future Builder lol :)
thank you so much man....I have been searching a answer for this question very long time and finally I am happy to watch this video👍
Love snowboarding, but I live in Texas now and cannot snowboard here. From Detroit, when I was younger and grew up there. Passion is where to start your business.
Thank you for sharing!
Paul Savola awesome Paul :)
I think I need to Salsa Dance right now. :( Need encouragement so I came to the right place.
Thank you Evan, since yesterday was news year and had to go to my job I felt very disturbed because I knew I didn't want to to work in the cooperate world forever. So I was thinking too much on what I should do as a business but having to watch your video, I'm not gonna worry too much and try and explore things I may enjoy. :)

Kind of like you Evan... Had been running for a year and went to a race and love it, then a friend said let's do more races...oh look there's a race on the Mont Saint-Anne, highest mountain around, 800m high, lets do that. It was f*&?ing hard, my body was hurting all over, I nearly puked, it was hot as hell.
I had a blast, I loved it...I knew I wanted to do more, and I still do 4 years later, I try to run in the forest at least every week and do a race or 2 every month. Nothing should make me love this sport, I am tall, bulky , large bones, bad cardio, I have everything against me running up a hill.... But I just love it, I was dead last in 1 race and I was probably the happiest last guy to ever cross that line! I was just happy to finish!
Louis-Patrick Rancourt lol thanks for sharing LPR! :)

I've tried writing, music, art, coding, design, photography, calligraphy, woodworking, storytelling, rock-climbing, video-gaming, sports, swimming, martial arts, DJing, data entry, warehouse work, and soon-to-be archery-tag, and don't expect it to stop :)

I new there was a reason why I liked you more Your a DJ! so cool. great video. I have a question if you have time to answer. I am in the process of my divorce & lawyers are expensive but have come across a business opportunity that is pulling more money out in order to gain more money in the future. I am getting worried. But every thing I do is to benefit my daughter & her future which I know this business opportunity will benefit the business which will benefit her. Its just tough a scary to see money move so fast out of my hands because of this divorce. should I do the business opportunity or take the more gorilla marketing avenue and save on money. thank for all you do Evan.

Thanks again EVAN 💫✨😊👍👍
It was informative .
Evan , had a question for you .
Every human being is driven by a desire to be successful in life .
It's almost impossible to do it alone . That would mean you also need to have the love of your life beside you to support you in your ambitions and desires .
Kindly enlighten us 💫✨😊 ,
Thanks again for being so wonderful .
Vinod 💫✨😊
Vinod Rathore It doesn't have to be the love of your life... just someone (or many people) who share your dream of the world you're trying to create.
Sounds great except I work 2 full time jobs and have my daughter 2-3 days a week(divorced with shared custody )
I can't take time off because I can barely keep up to my bills, so no time for anything social.
Really wish I could, it would really great to have some semblance of a normal life again and actually go do something enjoyable
joe Knight Start with your jobs - take jobs where you are learning and exploring something you want to know more about instead of just taking a paycheck.
Evan really wish I could. but I have no skills, no talent and cannot afford to not have 2 jobs.
ok i watched lol, this seems to be more about hobbies or increasing scope of interest, but what about finding a passion...job? i think a lot of people have a tough time deciding a job they're passionate about because society first makes you guess at what you want, then spend x amount of years in education and money, only to then find out if you're interested, we need to find out faster and more effectively and efficiently...
tommy d u b b s Exact same process. Whether you're doing a business or a job, you need to explore. Volunteer at places. Intern at places. Go to industry events. Talk with people who have those jobs. Try it out in a small way and see if you want to devour it and learn everything you can or if you grow bored of it quickly.
How tall are you?
+Daniel Pascual Over 6ft. #BTA100 Nina
***** 6ft 1 or two. I am 6ft but lot's of people say I am lik 6'2 to 6'3
