- After almost being washed away by the river and Dan giving Mazzy a haircut she will never forget, the Travel Trolls are finally back on the road. Today we got to meet Charlie Chaplin on our way to Valencia Island at the end of the Ring Of Kerry.

This had us all laughing out loud, we only thought you were going to take the ends off. You look a bit like Robbie Williams with your new Haircut Dan. Mazzy, your one brave lady, Kudos.
Cutting your lady’s hair is a bold move. My guy has Been doing my haircuts for me for years. I get caped, my hair combed out, sectioned, pinned up, and he trims my hair layer by layer. He trims off about an inch every couple months. I don’t miss going to the salon. Saves me time and hundreds of dollars a year. I think every woman should have her guy be her stylist.
My God, what a woman. Years and not been to a hairdresser. Dan I hope you realize what you've got there? She'll save you tons over time.

Tip for next time. For simple straight cuts and to aid in precision, cut when hair is wet. Unless using a trimmer or shaver for closer men's styles, wet whole head, part your hair down the center, to equalize each side and then get busy. Bear in mind when cutting wet, hair will shrink up a little after dry, so be careful not to take off too much at first. Start with a little, let dry and see if you're happy. If not, start the process over until you are. For this time though, it looks as if Dan did just fine. Ireland's beautiful. Thanks guys.
No, that's how girls cut it in a hairdressers and charge over £100. I did it the correct way. Free :-)

Mazzy I've had my husband cut my hair for 3 years too. I even gave myself an undercut. I always had a fear of the hairdresser's and to be honest once you start cutting your own hair it's much more relaxed 😂
Dan, a spirit level would have come in handy with the hair cutting, LOL! A 10 out of 10 for being brave enough to cut your girlfriends hair!

Ash, Duct tape is a wondrous invention! And I have done that same thing with my bangs. It does work.

Nicely done on the haircuts, both of you. It certainly saves money and time. I cut my families hair for years and my eldest son wouldn't have anyone else do it, as the salons always make a wreck of it. You are sure seeing some fine country, but wish the weather was better for you. I always enjoy the stories you come up with and seeing the statue of Charlie Chaplain reminded me of my childhood days. My dad used to run the reels at the local movie theater back in the 50's, and he had a lot of Charlie Chaplain films he brought home when the run was through. We used to play them on a projector at home along with other funny silent movie shorts. Thanks for all the fun. Keep warm, happy travels, and safe journey's.

Mazzy Dans done a good job on your hair think he's done that before. Great views along that road you found Mazzy i noticed that road earlier and thought you won't be going along there looks like a farm track and then the next minute you're on it. You find some lovely places on this adventure around Ireland makes me want to come and have a tour a round myself someday.
The hair cutting was a classic hoot.

Hi guys Eamonn here met ye for a pint in sneem we pulled out Sunday for home missed meeting ye again, the slate quarry is well worth a visit ,there's a cool walk up to a viewing tower turn off just beyond the bridge the views are worth the slog up,shut we might come across ye again during the year and ye can give a look around our old hymer then,down by the church in knightstown is a nice spot to park on the island take care yere great for local history stories and ye are mighty good humoured considering the weather we are getting recently bon voyage

Dan your hair is looking great today and I take my hat off to you both in regards to Mazzy’s hair as it could have gone so wrong, My husband once cut me a fringe when we had had a few 🍺🍹 I held the hair in between my fingers in a straight line so he could see where to cut but he made the mistake of above my fingers and not bellow leaving me with the shortest fringe ever 😂😂😂 I loved it x

I just found examples of the oven door just a bit open and took pictures but I am unable to send them, perhaps it’s just something you do to let the heat into the van after cooking in the colder weather. I am waiting for my van and I chose the high up oven and was just worried you were having problems with it 🐲🔥

If you're looking for a place to go, try Mount Melleray county Waterford. Some nice castles on the way too. N72 East to 669 NE. Or just look it up. I spent a summer working at the Scout camp just down the road from there. Have fun and stay safe.

Actually, it was a pretty good haircut that Dan gave you Mazzy. It will last till you decide to get it styled/hair trim.
I just went through the same thing with my hubby! He did a purty good job of it also. 2 weeks later, I got my hair styled again. It grows back even if it's yucky cut, so I Can't get too twirped abt a cut.
Ill cut it again in 3 years.
