One day the general public will realize this is the band they wished they had seen. These same poseurs will say they have liked this band since the 80's. Thanks you for posting. Great video.
So...grew up in Mpls. Seen them many times as going to shows was-is my thing. Military in the late 80's and seen them up and down the CA coast 5-6 times on PTTM . Seen them open for TP in San Diego. I moved to East Coast...drove to Chicago RF and went to the DC and Philly shows...last in the USA. But... I am a poseurs. I stole TIM from Music Land Northtown Mall...take it it's yours. I walked out of the wall of the IDS using the fire escapes right under a Hennepin Ave skyway. I have sat on "Bob's bench" . I have watched a sound check sitting almost front row center...many hours before the show and they just let me. I have walked-talked with Chris and I knew he was leaving the band likely before the band did. Slim sat down with my wife and I and chatted about nothing before a show. Paul signed my Blue vinyl of "Let it be" on the couch tour. Just before Covid I saw Tommy play solo at a local artist shop...incredible. I am a poseur. I could go on...there is more....
oh boomer, in your mind is the world still divided between posers and real music fans like yourself? Just enjoy the music gramps, we don't need your silly boomer divisions
I wish I was born sooner to see these guys. One of my all time favourite bands. Had the privilege of visiting Minneapolis recently. So cool checking out there neighbourhood and sites. Felt like home. Brilliant!
I saw them in Paradiso Grote Zaal, Amsterdam on this tour. The young couple next to me were overcome with emotion and dazed afterwards. Met people from all over the world who came to this concert. They were great. A friend of mind talked me into it. Yay to friends who suggest spending too much money on airfare on amazing concerts. Now in the hindsight of 2020 I'd spend twice as much.
My favorite misheard lyric Actual Elvis in the ground and he won't be here tonight. what I heard... Elvis in the ground and there'll be no beer toinight
On the bright side, D Boon’s pop was sick after Jackass started using Corona as their theme music, and the royalties paid for him to get the health care he needed.
Rolling Stone magazine came along too late ... the circus is still trying to catch up with their clownish compliments ... The Replacements can not be replaced or placated .
From where I was, I did not have nearly as good of a view of Tommy that night as I did of Paul/the right side of the stage. I have other videos of Tommy solo on my page however.
I'm 59. And we *DID* rock the Replacements since 1984 LOL. Used Answering Machine in this video ua-cam.com/video/wF1geAQ31_4/v-deo.html New Jersey AG Wants KingCast to Stop Emailing About Karma of Westfield and USAA Car Sale Fraud.

Favorite of my life. (São Paulo - Brazil)

Westerberg is the John Lennon of his era. Flat out brilliant.
Ha, haaaaa!!! You're funny, boyo. He's not even the Alex Chilton of his era. But he's one helluva Paul Westerberg.
I was at this show! It was great. This was right before they broke up again.
I wish i could've seen these guys in person
I saw them Live at City Gardens NJ 1985. The Band was sober except Bob,(Stinson). When the Band was,"on" one of the best out there.
Was at this show 😎made it to Denver, st Paul and Chicago riot fest shows. Bucket list ✌☝️👍😎

Tegenwoordige most alles Is double now!
Slán.
My only comment is to make note of the fact that this video has been up for almost four years with no dislikes (mine was the 31st like)!!
over 5 now!
Paul Huff: ...and the likes have mushroomed since then!
I saw these guys back in the late 80s or so in NYC with Johnny Thunders.......mid.
legend~!!
My favorite misheard lyric Actual Elvis in the ground and he won't be here tonight. what I heard... Elvis in the ground and there'll be no beer toinight
My fav is the SNL version where Paul sings “Bob won’t be here tonight”
Sick!!!!
i still think they should have used this tune for the opening of 'Jackass' like Johnny Knoxville wanted
On the bright side, D Boon’s pop was sick after Jackass started using Corona as their theme music, and the royalties paid for him to get the health care he needed.
That’s awesome!
I never knew that
The Replacements "comeback" saw Westerberg wearing T-Shirts with one letter at a time for the i-phone generation. W H O R E O F T H E P A S T.
Sounds so much like Joe Strummer!!
I have seen a lot of live videos of this band, and I don’t think they mix the drummer loud enough live. Seen this on a lot of their videos.
The guitars were blaring loud when I saw them (Masonic show, S.F.). Beautiful dynamics from Paul and David but yeah I didn't notice the drummer much.
lol, singing lollipop at the end
Like the Rolling Stones nods at different styles, their nod at reggae!
Wasn't a huge fan but this is a killer song
THE MATTS-YES-ME LONDON TIM/PLEASED TO MEET ME-83-85ISH/SAW THEM ONCE-TEMPA AZ WI TOM PETTY 89,SEEN HIM MANY TIMES LONDON/TEMPE GODS LOL TIM

Where's the Guns N' Roses bassist?

These guys were great but soiled themselves.
Mulitple times, I'd imagine. No one can hold their booze THAT well!

In true replacements fashion!
