If you weren't a certified professional i wouldn't be here.
The original is certainly better but you demonstrated very well how to colour the acorns nonetheless.
    Bless the photocopies !
    Cheers from Italy.
    Dan 🧡

Aw thank you. Yes I am so glad. It was nice to show how paper makes a difference. Thank you so much for watching Dan!

I love how the acorns turned out, and a little oopsie (camera not recording) turned into a teaching moment about paper!

I thought I would offer a tip in case people are trying to follow along in an amazon printed book, since this one can be hard to source. If you are trying to use Prisma on copy/amazon paper alone, the Prisma blender is your friend. It's really part of the set and not just an extra tool. They are very soft so they tend to sit on top of the tooth. It will push the soft pigment into the paper and help you fill the tooth. You can either do light layers and then blend, or lay down a solid layer of each color right next to each other and then blend. The second option works best if you tend to run out of tooth before you get all your colors in place.
Prismas will also spread across the paper like butter, so you can leave white for a highlight and just push the pigment across, it will blend out and create those light colors automatically, I often use a solid layer of only the dark/mid color in the darker areas and push pigment over white paper for a fast coloring process with them.
Also bases help tremendously. Choose your highlight color, so in this case I would use the light warm yellow for the acorn and a light warm grey for the cap. My favorite base on that paper is either alcohol marker or watercolor pencil/intense blended out with alcohol blender. You could also use a waterbased marker just know on that thin paper even that small amount of water is going to warp the paper a bit, be sure to be very light handed and let it dry completely before going in with the pencil. You don't have to shade, just a solid layer of color. Whatever you use, stay light, if you go in too dark it's hard to bring it back, not impossible but harder.
You can get good results on any paper, it just a matter of figuring out how to work with it.

I got a little behind on these and went to see if there was a playlist.. and noticed it's put in backwards so the newest video plays first, then continues on to the oldest. Not sure if that is a setting or? but just FYI. I just came back to your homepage and started clicking through them manually, but thought you might like to know.
