I am 71 and started coloring about the time covid hit. I have a very addictive personality so you know what that means. This is the 1st time I've actually watched someone. I highly suggest a Dahle 133 for Prisma. It has an adjustable point, set it at two turns back from full sharp for Prisma (I just leave it there for all my pencils). Torque is death to them because they are so soft. You need to avoid the twisting motion and drag of a single blade, especially a dull blade. Eventually you get to the point you can't use them in it anymore because they are too short. However most core breakage occurs when they are longer, so the use of a multiblade rotary protects them, and I never have an issue once they start reaching the end. My favorite small sharpener for the ends is the KUM, I like the glass bottle version. It gives a good solid point that isn't too sharp for them. You need to replace the blade frequently, and you can buy replacement blades for it (if a company doesn't sell replacement blades you don't want the sharpener). You can use any well made sharpener though, just stay away from the cheap junk. A plastic shavings case is fine but it should be a metal sharpener inside. You can't go wrong with good German engineering like the KUM, Dux or M+R. Always hold the pencil, and twist the sharpener. Go slow, let the sharpener do the work don't cram it in there, and keep it as straight as possible. Back in the day they didn't come sharpened, and you could just glue a new one to the end of the old one. I still see some artists doing it, but you have to put the ends together which makes it difficult to read the numbers. My Prisma never break, I can count on one hand how many broken cores I've had in ten years. You just have to treat them like the delicate butterflies they are.

I really like my Nuvo products. They also have a glitter Stickles type product that I use for scrapbooking. I try not to put texture products in my books, it’s easier to colour other pages without it.

Thank you for the overview. I have a wink of stella around somewhere but I may pick up one of the Nuvo's I like that white shine much better. Also that gelly roll 700 IS the stardust clear which is why it didn't show up on black very well. I highly recommend the other stardust colors, they are lovely. The clear is very handy for going over things, like ice or wings, or any color you want to be glitter but you don't have a pen to match. I mentioned this in your previous video but for anyone who doesn't know the Pentel sparkle/krazy pops are the same pens as the dual metallics, only in a different packaging for distribution in the US. The sparkles are the single color combinations, and the krazies are the dual color combinations. They don't offer the multichromes (three color combinations) nor are they sold open stock, but you can buy the same colors open stock from distributors outside the US in the dual metallic format. I feel like the pop pens might be larger, hold more ink, but that could just be packaging too.
