You need to place gutters around your patio to help with the drainage, your hubby can do install them as well .

Oh my gosh, you had some really cute ideas in there. I love the bird bath turned vase idea. I loved putting the jute rug on top of the other rug under the table. That was such a cool idea. Your husband is adorable by the way and what a hard worker he is. You are one lucky woman. Love that you put your stuff in your garage before you could do it because you knew what you wanted. I did the same thing and it was so exciting when I could finally start dragging stuff out of the garage and putting it where it belonged on our new back patio. The oval effect is great. I'm glad you brought up the throwaway plants at Lowe's. My husband and I call it the dead rack. We shop there all the time and it's such a great place to buy plants that you can resurrect and make beautiful for such a small cost. You really did have a lot of information in this and it was a beautiful job

I am forever heading there especially for the rose garden that I am still working on. I wan tto make sure I have a variety of roses and I need need "cut roses" that I can place in a vase for the house.

Patio looks great! ❤ I noticed the coat and you said this was in May and it was cooler. Honey, I'm sitting here in 95 degree weather, wishing it was nice and cool again..like it was in May!! 🥴😂 Oh and your husband did a fabulous job on the picnic table!!
Thank you he did! We've had a few warm days, nothing near the 90s as yet. I am so happy because the cooler it is the more we enjoy the outdoors. We were by the firepit the other night because it was such a cool night 😊
