- Its our final episode of the Alaskan GOLD series and we find the ALASKAN MOTHERLODE!!!
It was a great trip north of Chicken Alaska dredging in the LEGENDARY 40 MILE RIVER. The trip had some highs and lows but we ended this trip with a BANG. We also share some tips while dredging in Alaska and highlight some of the Gold Recovering Equipment.

Hahahahahaha...it was just a little something that two professional dredgers showed us how to throw rocks so slow. Hope to meet up again this year and find some gold!!!!!

Thanks Randy...approximately 7.5 days of dredge time. A couple days were poking around trying to find a good gold line...needless to say we did find it finally!

4 ounces is pretty close to break even , question if you was to do it again and dredged hard every day no goofing around and got 8 would you have had more fun and are you going to do this trip again ?
For our first time there we wanted to take in the many different experiences and history we could in addition to the mining. If and when we return, we prob would maximize dredging as we have seen the other stuff there already. We had a blast on this trip and have no regrets.

nice shiny! I recommend you put your scale in one of your gold pans if you can, before you dump your gold in! that way any gold that misses the scale just ends up in the pan

Yes sir, 6" with twin motors. A beast of a machine but definitely would prefer the Super Six with more capture areas on the boxes.
