Fantastic timing! I just had seen this game pop up on my radar and was thinking my son might like it. He’s only seven but really likes games like this with a lot of physical/building components.
Rodney is awesome! Also, I've seen him do 3 other games of yours that are on my wishlist now! XD I got to play this one, by the way, and it is really fun. Good job designing it! The 3D board is one of our favorite parts.
Quite some time since last Rodney's tutorial, I hope more and more publishers realize sponsoring his tutorials gives them great publicity as well as a superb learning resource for their games Me myself am not specially interested in new releases anymore as I'd rather have my collection stop growing, but Rodney's rules learning, scripting and video editing job is so amazing, and he seems such a great and smily person, he deserves the best (worth visiting the personal vlog he used to have) And yeah, that score of Chaz... no surprise both of these fantastic guys became close friends
Thanks so much for the very kind work on the tutorials. Sometimes you’ll see breaks between tutorials because the ones I’m working on are releasing on later dates. So don’t be surprised if you later see several dropping closer together :) Appreciate your encouragement about the value of the work!
This game is a real eye catcher! I took a photo for a friend of mine when we played last night, and she wanted to know right away what the game was. She has kids who are the perfect age to really get into this and try to plan their moves. It's very cool looking when it's set up, too.
I found out this game is going to be in stock at my favorite game store next week. Yay. :) I have never played a programming game before. I am expecting Ben & I will probably smack our pieces into each other throughout the whole game. It's a good thing the moles are so polite and don't mind waiting their turn, or they would have a lot of serious injuries. :)
I so wish you were teaching Bitoku. Every game I own, actually, but especially that one I have been so excited for it and just got it and now I am drowning in the instructions!!! XD
Rodney refers to the pieces "red" and "green" but I am seeing orange and yellow. Is this just a script error, or have I (or Rodney) suddenly gone colorblind?
@@WatchItPlayed we tried to pick colors that blended nicely with the board, and also were friendly to colorblindness. "red", "green", "yellow", and "grey" are what we usually call them, too!
I hope one day Rodney's partner will tape a small weight to one of the inside walls of the box. Small enough for him not to notice, but heavy enough for the box to go flying when he tosses it for the opening segment :-)
What a fun looking game. But, alas, my ankle bracelet is going off. I think it is a little simplistic for our taste. I like the draft and the deck order building. That would definitely build a huge strategy. Sort of reminds me a little bit of Dig Dug. I love the way your “strategy” can get interrupted. Could be fun, but I’m in jail…. LOL.
@@WatchItPlayed I dunno if you ever played the old Nintendo Mario games...but it reminds me of the SNES monty mole...and how he used to always pop up out of his molehill at the worst times. XD
No mountains out of molehills here--you are a good teacher! :)
I do try to keep my head above ground :)

Hey, glad that timing worked out :)
Thanks Rodney! well organized and easy to follow as only you can do.
The Rodney box flip is always impressive
Thank you kindly!
😍- Thanks so much for teaching others how to play Mountains Out Of Molehills! 💙
A pleasure to showcase it!

It has a really fun table presence, right?

lol, they are very courteous :)
You give very good body language cues and excellent examples.
Another perfect explanation of the rules. Thanks! Keep them coming!
Glad you enjoyed!
Excited to try this one out. It's supposed to be at the game store we usually support within the next week or two. :)
I hope you enjoy it, if you get a chance to check it out!
Oh Rodney! You cracked me up with your example score - poor Chaz!! 🤣
Hopefully he plays better next time :)
I think Chaz might have to rethink his planning steps if he ended with 5 points and Rodney wins with 100. LOL
What I need to rethink is letting Rodney record the scores!
I so wish you were teaching Bitoku. Every game I own, actually, but especially that one I have been so excited for it and just got it and now I am drowning in the instructions!!! XD
It does look like it has a lot going on!
I love the comedic touch in always letting Chaz have the lowest amount of points whenever you show a scoring pad 😆
Go Monique!! ✌️
It's just the way it turns out. If he had watched the tutorial first, he might have done better!
@@WatchItPlayed 👌🤣
This looks pretty fun, with a strong Roborally vibe for moving the moles around.
Thanks for checking it out!
Thanks Rodney now we are ready to play tonight
Hope you have a fun time playing!

The colors are kind of "off-colors" I found, so I picked the primary colors I felt they were closest to :)

@@jimdicamillo9060 very cool to see the designer popping in! Looks like you've made a really neat game here! I look forwards to trying it!
Very helpful review for how to play for us.
Have fun playing!
Moles are adorable, I want a mole emoji 💚
Let's hope UA-cam is listening!
Chaz's score though
He should have played better!
@@WatchItPlayed I AM A VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCE!

Evil! :)
Poor Chaz...still getting picked on... He never should have insisted on "MomenTen"...
I'm finding new ways to get him back!

Have you done a how to play bag of dungeon.
I haven't.
@@WatchItPlayed would love to see that, fingers crossed you may get around to it.
Great video! Very interesting game.
Thanks for checking it out Henri!
Oh wow!!! What is this?!? I need to find this game!!! :)
Glad you enjoyed Teej!

The BGG page isn’t in the description…great video though.
Fixed! I was live streaming at the time this went live (and I have to add the link after it goes live)/
Can you do a risk Europe tutorial? Btw keep up the great work
Thanks for the interest! I talk a bit about that here: ua-cam.com/video/EdtDuvIUa6A/v-deo.html&t=342
Rodney. Thank you for this. Do moles like bacon?
Let's find out!
Was that Chaz' personal high score?
Afraid so!
@@WatchItPlayed THIS SCORE IS NOT REPRESENTATIVE OF MY USUAL BOARD GAMING PERFORMANCE. IT IS AN ANAMOLY AT BEST.
I feel bad for Chaz
Not a very good score, huh?
@@WatchItPlayed YES I WOULD SAY THAT THE SCORE I WAS GIVEN IS INDEED RATHER LOW.
Poor Chaz LOL!!!
Hopefully he plays better next time!
THIS SCORE WAS NOTHING MORE THAN AN ANAMOLY! IT IS NOT REPRESENTATIVE OF MY TRUE SCORE-EARNING POTENTIAL!
DOES CHAZ KNOW ABOUT THE SCORE YOU ASSIGNED HIM?!? Poor Chaz!!!!
Hey, if he wanted a better score, he should have played better - not my fault!
@@WatchItPlayed XD XD XD
15:45 Chaz is so bad at this game 🤣
He could use a bit more practice!
I feel like there was a personal attack on Chaz...
I just record the scores...
SO DO I, NAWTYIT.
Poor Chaz...
Maybe next game he'll play better!
Wow Chaz did terrible!! He only scored 5 points!?
Hopefully he does better next time!
Chaz obviously did not watch the video. Such a poor score…
Hopefully he'll do better next time!
I HAVE OBVIOUSLY BEEN MISREPRESENTED HERE IN TERMS OF SCORING AND SCORE-BUILDING ABILITY.
