For me, the soul from the Chef and the Queen is the same soul. Chef was a re-encarnation of Queen in the future, and when the incident happened his modern conscious went to another point in time where the same should existed, and it allowed the soul to grow and mature faster in the re-encarnation cicle.
It does makes sense cause in the end, the Queen realizes she has the same mannerisms and stuffs as the Chef that's just hidden by her femininity and how she was raised. (Like she finds cursing actually nice like how the Chef does)
