Nice guide and pretty easy to understand. Keep up the work. One thing that I might add since I didn't test it when this video was uploaded is that now(june 2021) it's better to gather one tier higher than your tool for fame. Just tested it 2 days ago and if you gather one tier higher you get from 10% to 30-35% more fame in the same time and level that branch even faster.

Btw, i also a miner. And i leveling up my gathering lvl to t8, only by gather 6 and below. But most of the time, i gather t4 and 5. I never touch t7 and 8 node.
And because im really pushing hard, i can buy 3 month premium from 1 month gathering and refining with premium.
Edit: and the total playtime of the account from begining to reaching t8 miner is 1 week 8 hours.

Just started playing today and I'm already loving the game. I decided to go down the cursed mage route to see how it is. All the gear is super expensive so I wanna learn how to make everything lol

Can you make a guide on group leveling? Such as finding a guild, best ways to level with different dungeon options, what weapons to use for groups, how to stay safe in red/black/roads. I think this would be good to help new players make it over the full loot "hurdle"
I've had similar requests before. I have a lot of stuff planned and hopefully in time will get to such topics as well. It will take some time however.
As far as group level t5 black zone map dungeon are the most time efficient farming there is i think

Anyone still watching today, a tip Leyvi didn't add: yes, a mount with carry weight seems like a good option. Keep in mind, though, that if you are dismounted by gankers, that extra carry weight will no longer apply, meaning that if you are overweight without your mount it doesnt matter what abilities your gear has, you're a fish out of water. So keep this in mind. Personally I prefer the armored horse, just in case I get dismounted I still have a chance a getting away with my loot. I usually dont mind the extra trips. This isn't for everyone, but thought I'd add that little tidbit.

I agree with everything in this video except for one thing do not focus on just one type of gathering do two types of gathering often whenever you take say wood from Lyndhurst to the mountains you find that if you would have just mind or in the mountains and taking it over to another place that has the refining bonus you will make a lot more money doing it that way and spend much less time running back and forth obviously at first level up one once you get one leveled up comfortably level six or level seven you need to Branch out to at least one more that makes sense

Me and my brother bought premium in 9 days ( I gave him 4m) and now he makes about a million by gathering a day ( I don't wanna tell how he does it cause he will have competition) and I make like 500K
by various methods( one of them gives me 40% profit) and we play dungeons for fun. Good game

1mill a day? if he is doing hides he can do way better than that. ( i assume its pet hunting ) i ussualy do 2 map sections in 2 hours that gets around 3-5mill ( including pets and RNG) and if i take all hidden treasures you can hit around 3.5m in 2 hours.

10 Additional tip for gatherers gathering in red,Black zones,
Im a t8 fisherman and t6 all other resources
1. Be alert on the corners of your screen- When u saw red names mount up right away then go the other way, dont go towards the red name they will caught u.
2. Use giant horse- for me it is the best mount for gatherers, it has high hp, bonus capacity,cc resist, a bonus movement speed skill and became invulnerable at the same time for 4 seconds! it has a gallop speed of 125% higher than swiftclaws that only have 120% gankers usually use. So basically they wont catch ur speed.
3. Join the guild/alliance that owns the territory that u are gathering so u can gather safely. And gather only nearby the territory so u can run inside the terri if some ganker try to kill u. U can also bait them inside terri then kill them when they go inside coz guards will hit them too.
4. Use fortsterling cape- It can block the first stun, root, of the gankers so u will probably can get away easily coz if u use undead cape the scenario means u are almost dying coz it only activates when ur health is lower im not sure what %. So Fort sterling is the best choice and u dont have to worry coz u have 2 invi in ur pocket the gathering chest invi and the invi potion so no need undeadcape.
5. Dont use escape skills that can hit/damage the enemy/ganker coz it will prevent u on going inside the hideout or the other map u will become an "outlaw" which u have to wait for 2 mins to be able to pass through on other map /going inside a hideout.
6. Additional tip no. 5 Dont use mounts that has a passive of releasing an aura with damage like pest lizard, it will also make u an outlaw if it hits the ganker.
7. Inspect the red name if it is a ganker or sometimes its only also a gatherer, its a gatherer if its in full gather gear, and gankers usually dismount as long as they see u. Notebl that after dismounting, theres a 5 sec. cooldown b4 ganker can attack u so use it in ur advantage run away to the other location hes from. coz the ganker's friend might also came from his location so go oposite way.
8. Practice roaming around in the bz nearby mobs and try not to get hit by those so u can familiarize how close u can pass through w/o getting hit. So when a real ganker chase u, u can just pass through the mobs w/o getting slowed down coz if a single mob hits u when u are being chased by gankers, u r almost ded coz they will catch u.
9. If the gankers catch dismount u and u feel like u have no chance to survive, hit the invi from ur chest and invi potion, then quickly u TRASH YOUR VALUABLE ITEMS SO THEY WILL GET NOTHING TO LOOT!!! HAHAHA XD
10. The most importat tip- Observe your ping before you go out in red/black zone if its stable or laggy, u might die due to lag. Aside from gankers ur worst enemy is the server itself 🤣

@@puppycuddles3563 Other resources is hard to gather coz always 1/5 node even in black zone. but in fishing theres always fish u just need to find a water 😂.

One more thing I think is important, but maybe because I'm not experienced enough, I don't think is worth gathering in black zones if you don't have a guild or alliance that has territories there, is not about if you gonna get ganked, is about when, and if you don't have a good idea of what abilities to block is gonna be hard to escape, considering how frequently there are guys camping gates and communicating, or entire groups of 20 players closing on you.
Not really, if you go deeper in bz its safe, take arch as example, you never safe in their territory
You can buy banks for 200k and store your resources their after some time and get a scout form guild or a random and transport your good and give them a percentage.
Question if im in forest area and need stone i will have to travel all the way to mountain biome like going through city and reach there fill my bag and travel all the way back ?? And to teleport you need big amouts of silver depending on what you carry ??

Once you reach tier 8 in any gathering profession, you can net a profit of 2mil per hour easily.

i went to basic T5 for all gathering. started playing since beta so nobody had a clue what do do xD so much learning points wasted. but atleast i can make every t5 myself. so i guess there is that xD. currently at T7 mining T6 skinning T6 fishing and T6 stonecutting. just gonna ''main'' skinning / mining and stone cutting. since most maps have all 3 of them in it anyway

I'm going to be a Gatherer right now so shifting from Dungeon Clearing into it. Do I sell my gears in order for me to purchase those set items needed for Gathering?
No, you dont have to. The tools are pretty cheap and youll earn enough from gathering to buy an upgrade. Though i suggest to bring 3-4 pieces of what tool youll use when you start bc theyre easy to break. Saving you some time from going back and forth of the city buying another tool.

The resource market has changed a lot since the last update. You'd have to compare the prices in the market. Stone isn't best any longer.

I sometimes like to use a 1h mace. Might now dash like the bloodletter. But makes you more tanky and that E has an invulnerability that can save you.

This isn't really about gathering, but how should you make money using the resources you gathered? Just selling them?

Are you mining in the blue and yellow zones? Although that is safe it makes for less money compared to the black zones

Skining is more based on luck than on skill on higher tiers
T7 stone = T8 wood .If it this cheap why would you gather it ?
Because stone is just used for housing, wood is used for housing, weapons, and gathering armor

Guy advices leveling T8 gathering, while literally 99% of T8 nodes, are owned by huge factions and guilds....
Avalonian roads my guy, plus you can join the same large factions/ guilds
