Sounds like "Carousel" from their Buddha album as opposed to "Carousel" from their Cheshire Cat album. Great pick. Would love to see more old school Blink-182. Would love to hear "Dammit" or "Cacophony."
This was from 1994. "Carousel" from Cheshire Cat was a lot cleaner but still awesome. Travis Barker didn't join the band for a long time. This is Scott Raynor on the drums.
Definitely the Buddha version
It's the 1998 remastered version.
versi buddha lebih bagus. itu demo yang mengagumkan.
It's fun listening to a band from when they were less refined and hear how they've changed and what stayed the same throughout their careers. You can definitely hear a lot of what's in this in their later more radio-popular songs with catchy hooks.
Totally agree about who these songs appeal to. When you're younger and listen to a song, it's not just a song... it's a story about things and people in your life. So it stirs up whatever emotions you have ...(sadness, hate... um...i cant think of any others LOL..j/k) But yeah... To some people generations older it's loud music and yelling. But if you're in certain frame of mind,,, it's much deeper.
menurut saya ini emas murni, karya yang bagus. saya menyukai instrumen dan suara vokal blink 182.
Long time Blink fan! This was a fun watch.
It sounds Punk and it would be great in concert!!!! Love it!!!!!
I saw them in bars during this time period. Love them!
I used to listen to Blink 182 back in the day and this is different but I still liked it.
To pronounce their last names.... Mark Hop and then pus, then put Hop and pus together faster. Tom DeLonge is just DeLong without the e.
Scott Raynor was with the band from 1992 till early 1998.. and then Travis Barker took over whilst on tour with the band in 1998. Tom and Mark then decided that Travis was definitely the drummer for the band (Scott had a lot of problems with drinking I believe). They then started recording Enema of the State later that year. They broke up in 2005 after Tom quit the band to form Angels and Airwaves. Tom soon returned back in 2009 with Mark and Travis, but Tom soon left the band in 2015 and was replaced with Matt Skiba.
Blink's best period for music was from Dude Ranch till their Untitled album from 1997 till 2003. So many good songs from the period. Unfortunately, their music from 2011 to 2019 hasn't been that great, but they still release a decent song every now and again. They still tour regularly.
Some bad news as of late is that Mark Hoppus has recently found out he has cancer. He's currently having chemo and plans to fight it. Hoping and praying for the best for the guy so he can come back on and put on the best concert ever. He's such a good dude who does a lot for charity and people in general.
thankfully, great things have happened since you wrote this comment!
I feel like the Buddha version is superior in its own ways
Buddha version ftw
That poor snare drum 🥁 ouch. Fun song thanks. Maybe check out Unsatisfied by the Replacements
Nice, but I was hoping for something more up-tempo and intense.
The tempo of this song is pretty high lol
There is a difference between music and melodies, and loud angry noises.
Check out the Cheshire Cat version. It's a little cleaner. Imo that's their best album.
The other version is better
The drums were too much for me, it gave me a headache.
Then don't listen to punk rock lol
@@modernlife1321- Why? I enjoy the real thing, the original 70's Punk from England, but not that stuff... The drum beat is too frantic.
You might want to check out the version of this song from their album Cheshire Cat. Definitely a cleaner sound. This is the version from Buddha.
@Elimina247 - It's just a load of noise and the singing is off.
@@lilyanaharforde3374yeah the singing is off sometimes, the re-recorded version is better. Gotta love the raw sound but not for everyone.
I'm glad that Blink - 182 got away from punk. Just not my cup of tea.
My favorite blink songs are their pre enema of the state songs
