A very good snowboarder told me that an even better snowboarder told him that you don't need Highbacks if you have strong ankles. So I ride with zero angle and that helps me to improve my technique It's also better for park
So i did a trip with my heel backs at 6/6 and it gave me crazy caff burn when i’m on toes side. you think bringing it down will solve that issue? I feel that was the problem but maybe my stance i ride 15 -13. lmk anyone thanks
As a beginner just set it at like 1 or 2. When you get better, then it matters. Moving it back is good for beginners. Moving forward is for more aggressive riding
You can experiment with them, but duck stance would be preffered (both feet at the same but reverse angle), because it makes riding switch easier. I believe my freestyle board has them at +15/-15
This guy is the biggest kook ever. This is totally personal preference and if you’re a beginner or even intermediate this is gonna ruin your day. You literally can’t stand up straight

Get better heel turns and adjust angle
@@kimtiller that’s 1 tip and 1 outcome
i was the 666th like.
@@dylandrin
Just changed it!😈
I think he was gonna say put ur snowboard on ur feet and slide down the fookin mountain eh
Increased my riding a ton when I put the board on 👍
@@mj6463 I know that helped me out a lot...
Second tip is the best tip, thank you so much.
It’s different for every person, just do what feels comfortable and don’t be scared to mess around with it
Second one really helped!👍🏼
You can still do good turns if you know how to counter it with body position
Can you please do one for the stance of the bindings?
Best second tip ive ever heard. 😂
he had us in the first half
Where is the second one?? I need the second tip 😂😂😂
Man ima use that second tip all the time fr
I loved the second tip, very useful
I’m dying with the second tip comments 😂😂😂
stuck holding my snowboard where do I put it!!!!!!
Plz tell people the negative to forward lean aswell...

I bet both of them wear the wrong size boot 🤣
It good for carving.
i like the better turning but if i add nearly any forward lean my calfs last for only a few runs
Oh damn!
How do you like the Nidecker bindings? It was those or Union Force Pro and I went with Union.
Tgis helped me
Ahh you got us there bud
Do you adjust the forward lean for both bidings? With same level or different?
So i did a trip with my heel backs at 6/6 and it gave me crazy caff burn when i’m on toes side. you think bringing it down will solve that issue? I feel that was the problem but maybe my stance i ride 15 -13. lmk anyone thanks
Keep riding, the burn will go away.
Try out 12 -12
All that forward lean on a park board? Pretty wacky.
Agreed. Totally bizarre to me too.
“It will make you do better turns”
Do people use forward lean in the park?
WHERE DO I PUT MY SNOWBOARD IM SCARED
Please I NEED TO KNOW!!!
How did i end up here i ski
Nice
More angle = easier carving
Less angle = easier time on rails
Tip number one is adding forward lean to left foot. Second tip is forward lean on right foot 😂
Why so much forward lean? That’s super aggressive unless you are riding pipe or soul carving
It’s not a ton. Only half way
No but for real I’m new at boarder and my high back is forward but I I want to move it back for better heal turns so is that wrong ??
As a beginner just set it at like 1 or 2. When you get better, then it matters. Moving it back is good for beginners. Moving forward is for more aggressive riding
Just put it on zero
Thanks for the replies guys I kept Them where they’re at there at I think I just need new toe straps
Where’s the rest!??
What bindings are these?
Dude teasing with 2 tips and he whips out one
What should my angles be at for park?
You can experiment with them, but duck stance would be preffered (both feet at the same but reverse angle), because it makes riding switch easier. I believe my freestyle board has them at +15/-15
I use 12 -12, and plz don’t use forward lean if ur hitting rails and boxes
@@69aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa why not? I use a 2 and 2 which is the second lowest for park and it’s great
6/6 gang
One thing to remember if you are going to try this is that it will kill your legs the first sesh lmao
Did not know that
Did anyone else see the second step or just me?
There aren’t number wym 0-6
The angle for your highback can be whatever angle is comfortable. Dont be a clown and say there is one "proper" angle for it to be
... next put your snowboard on some new union contact pros
1
How to not catch edges lol
My bindings don’t even have a high back adjustment 😢
What’s the second?
