The floor levels was a “clever” usage of Japanese love of “word puns/usage”. The number 4 is pronounced as “shi” which is also the word for “death” (also the reason the famous comic book female assassin was also named “Shi”). Japanese do have a belief that the number 4 could be bad luck BUT rarely is that as observed as say in Vegas where NO hotel has a 13th floor. But again it is a clever usage of logic of why the sword wouldn’t be on level “Death Death”.
