Filling holes in O-ring basically assumes people have all their old figures which is nuts and shrinks your audience down. If this line had been Sunbow O-ring I'd be all in, but I don't have my old figures and I am not paying ebay prices to get them back. Really disappointed in hearing this honestly. I am getting older and it's time to accept that I'll never get Sunbow joes.

I was looking at content on Marvels New Universe and I felt like a handful of those IPS are so similar to Valiant Comics, I wonder if Jim Shooter created them, or if some of the same creators from Marvel went on to Valiant to create them, because they would have fit in real well with the Valiant Universe.

I really liked it! It has a similar tone as Duke & Cobra Commander, but with political intrigue and some Gaelic mysticism. It was also really cool to see Darklon and the country of Sierra Gordo introduced into the universe.

I have to say, I was surprised that Tomax, Xamot and the Crimson Guard made such a dramatic splash, in a book called Destro. They kind of stole the limelight. However, I look forward to seeing their story as well. On a side note, I hope this story arc means we’re getting a Classified Darklon figure, sooner than later!

I’m now legit worried about the direction. If the creative team thinks of the core audience as “man babies” the success wont last long.

Sometimes i don’t know if press tours these days hurt or help books. Sometimes I just wish no one would say much of anything, except I hope you like the direction/vision we have and here it is, judge for yourself; but I think this interview was really good. I believe it helps to clear some things up that people have concerns with. There are those that will cherry pick and hyper focus on a few statements, but that’s the internet.

Referring to certain fans as man babies. Great way to gain the trust of fans who are protective of their favorite franchises is to call them names. I guess inclusion is only for certain fans who think the right way.

Hama has killed it on story, pace and dialog and the art in my opinion has been the best out there. Full panels great action and most important hasn't had to force woke polotics into it.

This has been the best comic in the industry since 301. I was sad to see mooneyham go but Paul has carried that touch just as high. Both artists have a masculine style which I highly appreciate and the whole book has been a breath of fresh air.

Not gonna lie, as much as I love the Joes, without Cobra and the enemies I never would have collected GI Joe. It was Destro and the Baroness and the commander and Zartan that drew me in.

I supported my shop on FCBD by also buying some Our Army at War/Sgt. Rock back issues during the store's back issue sale. Every year only a few FCBD issues actually interest me.

Kickley is AWESOME. I love seeing his posts on FB.

As a HUGE fan of the Duke series, I loved all of this, also this page 15:43 just arrived in the mail this week, so hearing you discuss it was so much fun. I did wonder if the blinds were as annoying to draw as they looked. Sounds like they were. Great questions. I feel like I know these books and Tom Reilly better now..

I’ve been a Joe fan since childhood (cartoon, toys & even had a mail subscription direct from Marvel for the comic)! Tom’s involvement brought me back into the Joe comics fold! Definitely a fun interview!!

Hey, Mark and Tim! Fabulous issue reviews as always! Quick "I Spy" regarding DUKE's pal, Frost (if I had missed you calling it out in previous eps). In TRANSFORMERS #2, the fighter jet canopy label reads "CAPT. MIKE "FROSTING"" followed by a curious blank space where you'd expect a surname. Then in DUKE #1, he's mentioned as "Tyler Frost" in HAWK's office. And, yeah, I'm all for flashback combat adventures of DUKE and FROSTING!

I loved this mini-series so very, very much.

Loved the interview. I’ve been binging interviews with Jim Shooter, he’s an interesting fella. That Sienkiewicz drawing of Shooter was the first time I ever “saw” him, as part of a profile in some issue. Marvel Age, maybe?

Thanks for the long conversation about the bloody violence in these issues. My 10- and 12-year-olds have been reading the EU books along with me and my 12-year-old was reading CC #2 on the way home from school before I read it. He makes a comment, "wow, this is really bloody" and I'm thinking back to CC #1 and saying, "yeah, it is". I thought it was more of the same as when CC kills the bar bystander off screen. Nope. When I sit down to read CC #2, I find it is gruesomely bloody! I won't let my 10-year-old read it. I find it disturbing in that it comes close to reveling in the bloody violence. At the same time, if you're going to make toys with guns and put them in a comic, they are going to shoot people. If you make toys with chainsaws . . . then in the comics, they are just going to use them on vehicles, right? They are just a biker gang who drinks grape soda and eats cholate donuts. Goofy, not really maniacally violent. No, once you create a villain with a chainsaw, you've planted the seed, and given enough time, that seed will grow into the bloody tree we find in CC #2. I don't like it, but it does fit a logical characterization of the Dreadnoks.

It's male entertainment ment for males. Should be nothing wrong with beautiful women and buff dudes even of abstract it's art and fantasy where that sort of thing can live.

All these a covers are bad ass covers tho I'm fine with it keep um coming just wish moonyham could stay on thr book for good.

The Destro comic looks very promising, like the others so far. I’m a bit worried about Scarlett, more so due to the writer attached to it and considering their recent work on the Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) character from Marvel. I’ve really liked what Skybound has done with the Energon Universe so far. I’ll give it a chance, like I gave Transformers, Duke, and Cobra Commander, and I’ve really enjoyed all of them. But as of right now, I’m a bit skeptical. I’m not trying to be a downer, just giving my thoughts. Also, I'm going to take an educated guess and say the character on the spoiler from the Scarlet miniseries is either Snake Eyes or Storm Shadow.

Yes!!! The Punisher is definitely my favorite from Marvel! Especially the Chuck Dixon and Mike Baron runs!

Given the state we see Clutch in at the beginning of the issue, I was interpreting his statement on not being the best driver not as an objective fact about his skill, but the self-doubting thoughts of a man who has clearly fallen from his peak.

This makes buying the new ARAH run worth it!
