Taking the Pak Yak ( ChangLi Truck) Off-Roading...From China to the Mountains of Utah

From the inner cities of China to the Wasatch mountains of Utah we take the ChangLi truck (or as we affectionately call it) the Pak Yak off road. We decided to modify our shop Pak Yak with bigger tires and go off-roading in the mountain out side of the Electric Import Motors headquarters. This is NOT a Ford Raptor or a RZR. We know this isn't really what it’s meant for but it didn’t stop us from having a great time.
This thing is ridiculous and fun, the Pak Yak is a more serious take on a Chines Electric Truck. Did we mention it has a hydraulic dump? We love this thing and think you will too. Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

I saw a chinese car fully loaded in a dealer down south. It was $6000. Would have undermined the big manufactureres really quick if sold on this market.
The affordability of the viechcle, the mods you did on it, the Utah mountain view... This is so awesome at so many levels.
It was originally just a car for use on rural roads, but it turns into a real pickup truck in your hands, awesome💯
Remember now, the range he mentioned is manufacturer's data, running on skinny street tires, with lights and air conditioning off. Once you add the fat knobby tires, run the AC, and all lights on, you should expect half of the 40 miles range he quoted!

Rich folk will buy these for their 7-13 year olds. But I'd honestly love it as an adult, this thing is awesome! 😂

Keep in mind this is not a 4x4 pickup. It’s a 4x2 with a 4 to 8 hp motor. Maybe. Basically an electric golf cart. It does have a pretty hefty payload capacity for its size. I like what you start with here. You have an inexpensive complete body shell to start with to do endless modifications with. This is something I can have a bunch of fun with. For not a whole lot of money.
