The song prayer is awesome cover song's. There perfect synchronization's together is beaoutiful. The two sister's did a wonderful jobs. The Pentatonix are very good of what they do. But Lucy and Martha Thomas takes it a higher different levels about the Prayer song's.
The sisters' s rendition was so beautiful - I just enjoyed the overwhelmingly awesome musical presentation of pentatonix more - voices, talent and just unbelievably heartfelt -
Lucy and Martha ❤️ are pitch perfect. You can tell they are sisters when harmonizing. The difference for me, while I love both, Lucy and Martha just have this visual and vocal presence that is second to none. Lucy just released a new cover today. Her Birthday is next Tuesday turning 19. Wish her well. Martha, I believe, turns 14 this year. Thank you!👍
I love both. Pentatonix, is my favorite group, on the other hand, Lucy is my favorite female singer. She's perfection. Love when she does duets with her sister. I love every cover she does. Pentatonix, did a beautiful job. Comparing a group to a duet is really hard.

Lucy and Martha get my vote, absolutely perfect control and voice and full control across the range. PTX enjoyed but I felt a little beyond their comfort zone at the top and lost a bit for me, harmonies were good though.
Man, those girls were good, very clear and bright. And I always love it when Pentatonix does a full, lush, luscious anthem like this one. This is such a good idea for a channel, in case I haven’t said that before. You may want to put another PTX cover on your list for sometime down the line, to compare God Only Knows from the Beach Boys and then the Pentatonix version. What Lucy and Marta do two voices of alto and soprano and meco soprano with Lucy and in Pentatonix we have countertenor and polyphony with a baritone and it's a completely different creation in listening a little Pentatonix intertwined and spoiled this piece a bit Lucy with Marta can read notes and be able to do different impression in the piece is filled with their own voices and they complement the whole symphonic music and give it more color

Great reaction and comparison! Lucy and Martha have a warmth between them and their version was beautiful to listen to. There were no bells and whistles in their presentation, just pure and gorgeous harmony. These two young ladies have an undeniable talent well beyond their years. Lucy is out of this world and Martha is still young and not far behind. Pentatonix was very impressive and dramatic. They are definitely seasoned professionals with lot's of production value elevating their music to a high standard. Can't really fault them except maybe that I think they are a little over the top. After all, it is a prayer. That being said, my vote goes to Lucy and Martha.

I think Pentatonix blew this one out of the water. Not even a contest for me. But the little girls have beautiful voices & I think they have a wonderful future in music. If you like Home Free and Pentatonix, you would be doing yourself a huge disservice if you don't check out Voiceplay. I am posting here and there with something interesting about Lucy. So those that carry the mark of a triangle, show a great connection to God, Creator and the Universe. They show a holy connection to the Divine. And those that carry this mark are typically pretty powerful healers. The three dots in a triangle also represent the "Mind, Body, and Soul" or the Trinity. Lucy is religious. That we know. Is it coincidence that she sings like I would imagine an angel would? I am not religious, but I won't rule out that Lucy might be my or our Devine intervention. This belief appears to be very real. Lucy carries the marks (Dots) of the triangle on her right cheek bone.
Both great, but Pentatonix have the advantage with numerous voices, male vocals, and more resources. However in any case Lucy and Martha Thomas are far better, and they rip out your soul and mash it up. The Thomas’ version is unprecedented and simply the best!
Chopin and Bach in the notes to the sung piece say this: "The human voice is also an instrument for other instromets, so it must harmonize with the whole piece and play equally with the orchestra, then we have great compositions" - today we say HIT and if there are slight discrepancies we have wind in music and suzm not needed - difficulties in listening to the piece - the human voice is only filling the whole orchestra
The girls had amazing voices, but they didn't quite stay with the backing track during the bridge. Part of the reason for that is probably because their backing track was --so-- slow-paced. But the chosen backing style wouldn't have sounded right with percussion, even if it would have kept everything together. I've heard other songs the girls have done that showcased them better. Still gorgeous voices, and great harmonies. Pentatonix has percussion, more voices to add harmonies with, and they were able to put the Call and Response in either different octaves, or very different voice timbres, which created greater contrast than the girls were able to. The Italian had a more standard pronunciation when the girls sang, but I don't know that Scott's was wrong, maybe a regional accent difference? Overall I much preferred PTX on this one, but to each their own.
You had problem explaining why you prefered Lucy and Martha. I think i can help you. Their performance is sincere, angelic, pure. They do believe on what they sing. Also their strong sibling bond make the performance more emotional. When they sing , harmonies, together no one want to over power the other one, each one knows what is her role in the duet and the result is extraordinary.🥰❤️👍👏🤗. Continue to explore Lucy videos. All are awesome , in solo or in duet, Lucy is stunning. You will not regret. You explained you do reactions to covers , but Lucy has few original songs from a forthcoming musical : Rosie. I’m not sure how you can make judgement that PTX doesn’t believe what they are singing? Several of them are outspoken about their Christianity. I feel like that comment was making an unfair/ unfounded assumption.

They were all wonderful, but in my opinion Pentatonix blows this out of the water. I felt the emotion of all of them so deeply. It's actually one of my top favorite songs they've covered.
If you like ‘The Prayer’ cover by Pentatonics then you should give Marcelito Pomoy a try. He mainly does covers and I think you’ll be equally impressed.
That is one of the best music pieces by PTX I've had the pleasure of listening to. We are called Pentafries lol. They are different to me, the scope and size of teh music is very different. My choice would definitely be PTX.
The sisters voices were beautiful, but sometimes I forget or take for granted that PTX is a’capela! Not only Scott, Mitch and Kirsten’s beautiful voices, but listening to all their voices in the background as well as the drums and base from Kevin and Matt! No instruments in this video. That’s why I choose PTX-They take it to a whole other level! 😊

The sisters do a very good cover of Miley Cyrus’s ‘The Climb’, which they recorded when they were 18 and 13.
The Girls were amazing but For me it was Pentatonix the harmonies And the whole picture was glorious
