It is easy to believe the message Lucy and Martha are communicating in their version. This is what makes all the difference to me. It is also a hallmark of all the work that Lucy and Lucy and Martha perform
@@Anothercoverlover62 I think we all have a good sense of the talents & charisma of Lucy, and I am very excited to see more from Martha in the hopes that she develops are beautifully as her sister. I simple adore these two girls
Josh Groban is a world class singer and a seasoned pro with far more years of experience behind him but it's a testament to Lucy and Martha that as great as Josh's version of this song undoubtedly is I'd almost completely erased the Josh version from my mind by the time these 2 angels had finished with their version. Now whereabouts did I leave that tissue box ? 🥺😭🤧
@@adamknight7041 I consider myself a tuff guy. Every time i play a Thomas tune i make sure the box is close. Someone commented that all the new angels go to the Thomas home to learn to sing. Good day
Lucy and Martha are singing this song because the meaning behind it is so true. The love two sisters have for each other and how they depend on each other for support! Just Love Lucy and Martha!
Lucy and Martha are the best at duets since Barbra and Celine, Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks. I know there are a few more comparisons. However, I would be down for Lucy and Josh to sing one as well. Just to see Lucy out sing him.👍😎
I disagree I think there's alot of feeling in Josh's version actually but it just isn't possible to reach the levels of emotion that Lucy in particular puts into her singing and as a duo they're just so sweet and adorable. 🥰 Lucy is one of the greatest singers ever as if she was created by God to bless our eyes and ears with her unprecedented talent and beautiful appearance.
Technically probably little in this, except the real full voice powerhouse here is Lucy, Mr Groban can't compete with that. Emotionally, Lucy and Martha hands down.
Thanks Tony That’s a much more enlightened response than I’ve been having Check the outrage when I commented on her stomach showing It’s dangerous for her not to realize just because you do this in your dorm it’s dangerous
Josh Groban;without a doubt a very good voice.Nevertheless, he disappointed me as a singer here.He sang technically flawlessly, but unfortunately his full concentration was probably on the technique.Emotionally, he couldn't touch me except in the last line. Lucy and Martha;here it's completely different.Emotionally as always a direct hit.Martha still lacked some technique due to her age, but she was able to let herself fall completely into the song and thus transport the necessary feeling through her fantastic voice.Lucy is of course technically already 2 steps further than her sister and was able to shine in this point as well. For me the clear winners - Lucy and Martha!
To me there is no comparison with Lucy singing solo, against someone else ,or duet with Martha, against any combination of singers, and Lucy also was only 16 and Martha only 11,they both bring out emotions in me that I didn't even know I had in every one of their performances,I don't feel anything for anyone else , except maybe sometimes on a few notes
Hows that for a tear jerker? Beautiful voices, all if them. Josh crushes this with his nice tone and range. The girls 15 and 10 here hit a home run also. I can't pick a favorite here. I suggested this because i love them both. I still do. People will have their opinions, I'm sure all have value. I just hope every one enjoyed this. It calmed this savage beast. Ha I doubt Lucy is the blocking issue. Lucy sends thank yous to reviewers. She and Martha cover all the big hitters, with corporate backers. Tough for your concept. Thank you so much friend, I loved this.

I do not know who is Josh. Some commenters says he is a quite arrogant guy. I do not know. What I know, his interpretation is nice , but cannot compete with the soulful, genuine and pure interpretation of the Thomas sisters. ❤🥰👍
It's hard to compare a male powerhouse voice to a female voice. I thought your comparison should have been between women only, if you are going to react to Lucy
I would still like to see you do a comparison to The Beatles "dear Prudence" to Haley Reinhart and Morgan Jamess together acoustic cover of this song. Haley and Morgan voices together absolutely wonderful. Also a big shout-out to Morgan's husband on the guitar
Lucy and Martha always perform beautiful duet's together, there awesome harmony is perfect, there the best singer's in this planet.
And to think, these two dear, beautiful, absolutely precious angels dwell among us mere mortals!
This was great. Nothing to compare here because because both Josh and Lucy & Martha were outstanding. Such a beautiful song.

I love Josh.
Roy Kahn (former Kamelot singer) does a very raw version on a church... he can sing, as many metal singers.
