I've found going to the custom WB setting and using the button wheel on top of the A7IV makes for a great way to manually adjust white balance whenever needed. Great vid!
Thanks! This was great! How do you white balance when part of the playing field is shaded, but the other part is very bright? I was shooting a tennis match where part of the court was shaded and the other half was very bright. In post, I was able to correct the shaded part of the court, but the bright unshaded side was blown out. Advice on this type of scenario? Thanks again!
I’d say yes there was one time I put an ND filter on and took it off and looking at the shots I felt my white balance was pretty off and the footage wasn’t as clean as the shots I preferred but that was in an indoor gym with more yellowish lighting and on auto white balance (I think)
I appreciate the knowledge 📸💶
Learned to set white balance this year and finally kept the LED screens and boards from defeating me 🙌🏼

Here's a question...Should you be setting white balance differently with an ND filter on? And then if you took it off, should you adjust then?
