The creator of the Printstream skins are apparantly working to get it on the CS2 models, and i read somewhere that Valve have to manually override the perlescent value for tthe skin to look right.
Black tie gloves got a big fix. The black still isnt quite as black as csgo but the white is blinding now, looks so clean. Goes super well with print streams
Autotronic's got a buff, at least the Kara and bfk are bright and shiny now, the bowie is still pretty dark but doesn't seem as bad, bowie autotronic was always significantly darker than other autotronic knives in GO.
I had the sports gloves nocts along with huntsman black laminate and got so disappointed when i saw it in CS2 that i actually traded them both instantly.
My phase 3 gamma doppler falchion got a HUGE upgrade. All the black that was on it is now a bright cyan blue and the cyan blue in general is much better looking. Matches my overprint hand wraps much better. Used to never get much reaction with this combo but now people freak out and tell me it looks amazing or ask how I got them. Values are up, too!
to me the glock steel disruption locks great in game and this was one of my first skins i got from a friend which i gave him back later... but rebought the skin just as memory... its looks great ingame
Although a very cheap skin, the MP7 sunbaked not only is very shiny, basically any wear value above 75 just looks golden now. Due to being a custom skin it sadly does not update to the new model but it greatly makes up for it.
I think the metallic-looking receiver on the M4A4 isn't just an Eye of Horus issue. the same thing happened with my Coalition, although slightly less noticeable because the skin is already mostly dark, but the receiver looks super glossy for some reason. I hope they fix that soon.
i have USP-S whiteout FN and in CSGO has a lot of scratches on the silencer, top and handle but in cs2 now there are bearly any scratches on the trigger and the magazine
Eye of Horus looks good imo. The real m4 has its stock, pistol grip and rail covers made out of plastic, while the reciever is made of steel. More realistic this way i think.
Ive had a blue steel karambit (BS, 0.93) for 7 years, and like a week ago I noticed it changed MASSIVELY. It used to be a very faint blue, but now it is a much richer and deeper blue, almost like a doppler without the reflection/shininess. Massive upgrade imo.
Opening cs2 for the first time and seeing my phase 2 huntsman doppler was amazing. My favorite color is pink and it made all my friends jealous. I absolutely love it.
Nice to see someone bring up the Orion's wear issues. I personally have one with 0.02 float and which use to look pretty clean in CS:GO, but looks awful in CS2. Also saw a tweet from someone who had their 0.0005 Orion with pretty much the perfect top, turned into an average market value field-tested one, so I'd say it's safe to assume this wasn't an intended change and hopefully they'll fix it soon.
Anomaly, what about the Hand Wraps? Feel like they look better, do to the more detailed texture of the fabric. (Cobalt Skull for Example). Could only be my opinion but definetly worthy of checking out.
Reason for the Grayness. is the New lighting and Smoothness / Shinyness of textures and materials, due to all the new Reflections and stuff. (My assumption anyway) I feel like they would at least try to make skins that are meant to be black, be more black. As this probably was rushed anyway they didn't get the time to adjust the Matierals for each Model/skin, so they will adjust that over time definitely.
Its crazy how you can have so much money and not notice this big change. The case hardened battled scarred skins look so good,doesnt even look battle scarred anymore, my case hardened on cs go was nearly black and now in cs2 its bright blue and you cant tell its even in bad condition
Printstream creator JTPNZ mentioned that Valve had to set the pearlescent effect beyond the allowed value for skins manually, and has said that he's working on giving it a full upgrade to hopefully fix it in CS2
The blue steel knives had a huge upgrade, i think they are the best entry level finishes now, they have the same type of reflexion as doppler ginkshes almost
I haven’t seen anyone mention the MP9 | Mount Fuji yet. I think it got an update between the beta and full release because now the colours seem to have had their saturation turned up. The blue parts of the gun look deeper now

the biggest change in the CS scene is Anomaly going to the gym
Slaughters got a huge upgrade as well in the open beta, they added the shine from the dopplers/other anodized finishes.
Those already got nerfed back to how they were, source: own a slaughter and watched the shine go away

The damascus steel knives also got an upgrade and look much shinier, my field tested looks like a minimal wear from csgo

Im surprised no one talks about he M4a4 magnesium. Its a very vheap skin but I think it looks AMAZING in CS2 since its all silver.

Very happy with the p4 doppler butterfly changes, I saw profit ofc with 2 announcement happy it stayed and slightly keeps going up.

Broken fang Jade Gloves and Needle point gloves are best budget gloves now, they look good and shiny. Especially Jade gloves are standout.
I've noticed a lot more skins that have damage when they are FN. Ive even seen FN skins with the same amount of damage as a WellWorn skin

Valve said they are having an issue getting the pearlessence effect to work in CS2, but they are working on it.
