I've worked in the med field for almost 20 years and I have come across one single instance where a woman "needed" an abortion. She was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer shortly after learning she was pregnant. She wad given the choice of aborting her baby and starting treatment or not doing treatment and trying to save her baby with the knowledge that she wouldn't survive without immediate treatment. She chose the life of her child. She spent weeks in the ICU and hung on as long as she could and made it to her 26th or 27th week before the cancer got to a point that her organs were beginning to fail. They took the baby by emergency c section and she passed a few hours later. She never got to hold her baby or see her precious little face, but she literally GAVE her child life in the most meaningful way possible. There is no sacrifice greater.
When I was 25 I had an unexpected pregnancy. Every possible outcome crossed my mind as it was an emotional moment in my life. I was scared. Those around me didn’t have the best reactions which made it worse Ultimately I knew I had to carry on with the pregnancy and have my baby. When I tell you, my son, who’s now 5, is literallly the BEST thing that has ever happened to me. Turning me into a mother, the lessons he teaches me…. I am SO glad I made the choice I did. Followed my intuition and morals and heart. Has it been easy? Not always. Motherhood is challenging. But my boy has flipped my world upside down in the best possible way.
I learned a lot with my kids, too, especially with the first one. We somewhat grew up together. I had to become a better person in order to be a better mother.

There's a difference between elective abortion and removing an ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancies are outside the uterus and cannot be carried to term whether it was wanted or not. No other internal organs in the body can carry a fetus to term without rupturing and internal bleeding except for the uterus which is made to stretch.

I survived 2 ectopic pregnancies.
I was trying to start a family.
I only knew I was pregnant for 3 weeks before I started bleeding internally. 8 months later it happened again.

Abortion should never have been available on demand...but I might be dead had there been a law against it.
I know this is a late response, but it’s not an abortion if it’s an ectopic pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy literally has no chance of survival because it’s not implanted in the uterus. Medically I know it’s categorized as a “spontaneous abortion” but it’s not an abortion. Abortion is the ending of a pregnancy (baby) that is growing in the uterus
There's a difference between elective abortion and removing an ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancies are outside the uterus and cannot be carried to term whether it was wanted or not. No other internal organs in the body can carry a fetus to term without rupturing and internal bleeding except for the uterus which is made to stretch.

I have never been pro abortion. I realize most people including myself whlould think it was ridiculous to worry about doctors feeling threatened by legal action which may make them unwilling to provide care to a patient who's treatment may get them entangled in legal problems with the state.
I was glad there was no law in place that threatened my life.
After 2020 anyone who doesn't clearly see there is a medical hierarchy is just in denile.

Only during ectopic pregnancies, when mother's life is in danger, abortion can be done.
Beacuse, during ectopic pregnancy, the child would die and also mom. So, that's the only time abortion is advisable.
Removing an ectopic pregnancy is NOT an abortion.
Abortion is the DELIBERATE KILLING of a baby in the womb.
Removing an ectopic pregnancy to save the woman is not the same as DELIBERATELY KILLING the baby.
Medical treatment for ectopic pregnancy is not abortion.

Doctor. Isn't there a way to provide proof of life, by watching response of the fetus? I would imagine the suckling fetus to be learning and experiencing life even then. Asking do you love me, you say yes, it kicks or something else to tell you, thank you. A response. Now I know responses can be measured, just like the amplitude of light from a star. To watch this interaction of fetus to parent would be amazing! Even if you disagree, you can t stop science. Despite what the field of biological science has given us by not standing up to its oath that a man is a man and women are women. Drop trousers and give me a blood sample. Real science will figure it out.😢

So, what If I decide to grape 500 children (less of a crime then murder) and then decide I was wrong and become an advocate for child development. Would you forgive me for my sins and redeem me as a human in the name of "God"? This is a serious question.
The acts are still evil, but I think the difference is these abortionists are lied to and convinced they are doing nothing wrong by school and society. School and society don’t teach that graphing children is acceptable and good, at least not yet.

Yes if you repent and feel regret and admit what you did was wrong, God will forgive you.
In your scenario they already know grape is wrong but there is always a chance that they will see the light. They too can be forgiven by God but they still have to pay for their crimes according to the law.
There are people in prison that advocate so that is possible too.
