Earlier this year, I made an abrupt move to a city where I didn't know anyone. I was and stressed and had no idea where life was taking me. Luckily this new town had a decent college radio station. I heard Kurt Vile first time with "hey like a child". Iook him up and play his new single. For the first time in weeks, I wasn't on edge. Every time I play this, I go back to that moment where I felt like everything was going to be alright. This song truly feels like a hug or a "massage for my cranium" thank you KV
That's our Kurt for ya! Been listening to him since 2016 🤗🤗🤗💗💗💗 For the same purpose - to have my cranium massaged and it works every single time 🤗

@@TheVideoLounge - if you are into the mellow, chill, stoner vibe of this one - check out his album "Walkin on a pretty daze" - as it's got a very similar to vibe to this track (imho) but honestly - to me - i love his last 5 or 6 records. they are all fantastic and i've got them on constant repeat lately along w/ Lana Del Rey's "Norman F'n Rockwell" record.

This song is like a time machine for me.. it takes me to places Ive been and times Ive shared with people I love an have loved that are no longer around it makes me feel super excited happy and sad all at the same time it's brilliant
It's really amazing to see how far Kurt has come from the first time I saw debuting Smoke Ring For My Halo in a little bar in Philly that no one cared about to creating more approachable records with singles and music videos. I know "East Bound And Down" gave him good exposure with "He's Alright" but it's beautiful to see the broad recognition that he is getting these days.
He’s Alright has always been my favorite and I flipped when I heard it in that show. I’ve been playing this new album on repeat, KV might have taken my #1 favorite artist spot.
