Your storytelling is so amazing yet very common in some marriages. A friend of mine had this very unfortunate experience and end up getting an STD. The mistress lived less than 2 blocks from their home, so it was easy for the husband to cheat. She eventually filed for divorce and lost everything; the house went into foreclosure, bank accounts were empty, and he physically abused her. She was a full-time housewife raising their son and daughter while he works as an engineer. I often encouraged her to start up a small business working from home or to complete her nursing degree, because I suspected he was cheating on her.
To date, she is experiencing many hardships getting back into the workforce. She had to move back home into her parents' home just to survive. I advised her not to be ashamed and to do the best that she can. Things are looking brighter because her daughter is pursuing a nursing degree, however, the son has some suicidal ideation.
Please, I am asking for your prayers for my friend. Thank you all and many blessings.

NOT because you had proof and caught him with your own eyes in the act??? Which would've been more logical. Dropped hurt, pain on you and your potential husband, just because of what another man told you or hinted at. Wow, these males are NOT God and can get jealous , competitive live anyone else. Also, you shouldn't tell your personal business to the church personal, no matter their title. NOBODY is perfect and a pastor should tell you to forgive and pray- not gossip and break a marriage. That's their role. You got rid of your future husband over that? No for better or for worse, no proof, Just gossip. Maybe it hurt so much to move on because you shouldn't have and found a better way to bond & flourish the relationship- without pastor all in the middle. Smh

Oh, Auntie Fumi. Sadly enough this sounds like a made-for-tv movie but these things really happen in real life. Marriage really is about love , Trust , vulnerability so this is why it's crushing and so devastating when people do cheating ,disrespectful inconsiderate things like this. I know of a case where a man did this to his wife and then he blamed it on her because she didn't want to have sex with him because he was doing drugs! Who would want to sleep with someone who was doing drugs? That's like sleeping with serpents. When things are going badly between or in a marriage they need to be discussed between husband and wife or with a professional neutral person such as a therapist. Sometimes we don't know why things are going crazy .
