I suggest using the smooth tool by selecting some track and it will give you the option to smooth it and it will get rid of any choppy parts of the ride and make it smooth
Will definitely use that in future! My Smiler was quite choppy! 😂

I figured out how to have a vertical chain lift without the overhanging drop. Use an LSM Holding Section (specifically a holding section) and set the target speed to 20 mph, acceleration to 9 m/s and launch delay to zero. Then just use that as the lifthill. Idk if this will work for you but you might aswell try it and it works for me.
(At the top of the lifthill it does stop for a second but it's well worth it.)
