      we’re young and being committed to a real gym with real coaches gets expensive. we just stuck to this path of learning the sport and teaching ourselves and this is the progress we’ve made over 2 years 🙏🏻 thank you for the nice words man

      @@friendlyboxers mad progress for 2 years of self-training.
      I learned boxe in Russia and South America. And it's not expensive here to have Olympic coach with good technique. So I use the opportunity of course.
      But even after 8 years of training, I believe the 1st opponent would legit kick my ass )
      Big respect for your level guys. The love for boxe is real, I can see. thanks for sharing. Real nice content. Good sparing, good camera work, good sound. Well done !

      Come down to their level and just pick it up just above and just enough pop on the shots show them, the intensity, speed , movements and calmness. That pro is the real deal, from uk so never seen him before..

    • @Shadybiz1
      @Shadybiz1 3 місяці тому +1

      Yep, that's the way the coaches at my gym do it when we spar. Not enough to injure or knock you out, but enough to let you know that you got hit (sometimes multiple times in a row), and that maybe you should try to modify so that doesn't happen that often.

    Boxing is a cruel and harsh sport!!! In order to be great you need a great coach. Someone willing to push you to the next level. I respect how far these youngins have come on their own. I showed them where they can go if they lock in and train properly. Having fun in the gym with friends is cool.I did that been there. But in order to make in this sport..a sport that loves no one! You have to dial in and bring out the greatness out of yourself!

    Omar’s arsenal of punches, his defense, his speed, and his footwork shown here are all superb. I believe him fully when he says that’s not even 20%.
    It really shows the difference between pro and self-taught. I’m an amateur myself, I was self taught for a long time. Though my uncle was a semi-pro, and he was my coach at home, I never had true formal training until the last 2-3 years. Getting the opportunity to light spar with guys like Omar.. is a privilege. It helps improve your game 10x.
    I was also a club soccer player for 18 years, a striker/CF, and my footwork was already really good when I transitioned that skill set into boxing. Kyshawn’s natural instinct to back away out of Omar’s reach was awesome to see.
    Kyshawn, if you started throwing angle switch ups into that back step, you’re going to be moving all around your opponent, creating tons of angles. Just like Omar.

    Omar has a strong ring IQ, based on how he mentions Pedro's feet at 16:39 - footwork like a soccer player. The lateral movement in football and basketball are almost congruent to boxing. But futbol or soccer, the feet in that sport isn't so much lateral but more of a crossing based lateral movement. Which is why soccer players rely on a TON of plyometric work outs for explosiveness. Great video!

    Josh has a ton of potential. He not elite but you can see him read dudes movements and he was just mirroring what dude was doing. The more data he got the better he got. Its crazy cause some people you can show them for a year and they will never get it

    Yall definitely got it, work on that
    constant head movement
    Stop telegraphing yall punches which usually stems from a off balance stance, get more snappy and yall will be deadly and footwork comes with times always think about it till its second nature. Keep up the grind
