100% true. All content creators who sell the idea of passive income with only a couple of hours of effort per week took years of hard work to reach this point. There are no short cuts. In my humble opinion the idea of "passive income" will slowly dissipate as the consumer demand/interest is changing very very fast. You have to continuously do research to spot these changes and create new products consistently, as you correctly pointed out.
You are so spot on, Hannah. When you love the process and strive for success, you don't notice the weeds so much! What cracks us up is all of these get-rich-quick AI people. Sure there are AI designers out there that save time, but it doesn't get someone away from customer service, fulfilling orders, managing POD partners, quality assurance, etc. The reality is that many of the dream chasers will be too lazy to do the hard tasks. Which means the 80/20 failure of new business startups will continue. Which is great, because less competition only helps those businesses that love the grind! Thanks for another sweet video. 🙂
You totally rock! Love your analytical mind and also the way you take risks. Hell yeah to Etsy POD being a way to make passive income!! Good luck to you all.
Hi Ms. Hannah. Do you think can i push my etsy shop. Im not a designer. I do a digital products on etsy. My etsy account is 1 year old already but i have less than 200 sales and 200plus listing. What would you recommend for my shop? Thank you so much.
I just want income lol, I really don't believe them when they say passive income "make 100k a month"! when it sounds to good to be true it usually is too good to be true! another great video!!!
Hannah, what do you think starting an Etsy shop over? When is that needed? I’ve had mine 3 months, 30 sales, but that’s with 2 months on no new work added. I really want to avoid starting over.
I do not think you have to start over you just need to keep building upon what you already have if that means total rebrand and changing the type of future product launches that is fine just keep going, you can delete dead listings and focus on all new efforts being what ever your setting the tone to
Hi Hannah, great video! I have a content creation idea for you :) Could you make a video about this topic below? Since the most sellers don't have an idea what each Etsy Ads Goal Type really does. Thank you in advance. What are your thoughts on Etsy Ad Goals? Which one do you rely on the most? Etsy Goal types: - Increase visibility and awareness - Drive orders short-term - Promote specific items - Take my sales up a notch - Maximize my exposure to help compete against similar shops
Thanks for the idea! I alway have it take my sales up a notch since that histroically what you optimize for on facebook IG tiktok google etc, etsy is cryptic on this but I would always keep on take my sales up a notch
You have to understand a lot of people coming to etsy have no business experience, cash flow, credit, marketing, copywriting, ppc, software, niche experience ect also the BANS. which would be holding a lot people back and this takes time to learn. Also people are fearful of PPC

You already have momentum, I would continue to focus on R&D and getting 200 listings to 500

1000% same case scenario for me when I first started
Do you do shop critiques? I feel like you're no nonsense lol I'm falling at roas
I definitely like to get straight to the point I do Offer one on one sessions it’s not something I really promote unless people ask
Here is the link to my calendar if you would like to check it out bosscom.kartra.com/page/LwJ130
Without customer service it can definitely be passive income
and R&D and PPC which is the growth engine of the machine
