THIS MAN IS SO UNDER RATED IT'S SOOO SAD! THERE IS NO OTHER ARTIST THAT CAN COMPARE... THIS MUSIC NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I HEAR IT GIVES ME THAT FEELING OF... CAN'T EVEN EXPLAIN IT... IT'S TIMELESS... IT MAKES YOU FEEL... SIGH
I just knew that the real singer of this song was jeff buckley, then It struct me that I already heard this song before, I just couldn’t remember the artist. I tried looking and I see covers. Then I came here after a few hours of looking. It was Jon B all along. Damn this version is so underrated. Not even on the top searches of youtube. Not even in spotify. I just remembered that I just stumble upon this song back then. It was an instant favorite. This version was really a diamond in the ruff. Jon B did justice on this song. PS.. the original song was really the jam! No comparison tho, both artist did their thang in their respective lanes.. Love both songs...
I can hardly tell the difference between this, and any other modern "r&b" slow love track. Jeff Buckley - creative, poetic, intelligent and in a league of his own.
Jon B sounds good, but Jeff Buckley almost makes you melt with his voice on this song. I can't believe that neither one of these artists got the recognition they deserved though. I love it when white boys sing soulful tunes, just as good if not better than their black counterparts. It proves that music, song, dance (the arts) are universal and can have a unifying effect on all audiences.
OMG I had taken a Tylenol pm when it kicked in ..I had my earphones on n played this... that shit sound sooo good..I was completely Done...he is fabulous!!!
Love it when artists I love connect in unexpected ways! (Buckley & Job B). On a side note, you know who I think would kill this song (in a good way).....PRINCE!!
i don't know compared to other music i've heard from jon b i feel as though he is singing this song without much soul i don't hear the emotion i heard in jeff's voice he is just singing technically good
honestly this is good but he should have done less of a jeff imitation he could've have personalized the cover the way jeff used to when he covered music
I can't decide between the Kenny Latimore cover or Jon B's. So I usually just listen to Jeff's.
Jon B, easy!

Dusty Stephensen/Hindley Street Country Club, did this cover, they both did very well.

Before Justin Timberlake & Robin Thicke there was Jon B!
Eloquent Thinker
R & B Soul For Real 1st
1 of the sexiest jams I've ever heard
Jon could sing the star spangled banner and it would sound great to me!!! (LR)
his voice is like butter
This a good song...

It was written to emulate Prince for his gf (Jeff's) if I got my facts right
Mmmm! No words
i don't know compared to other music i've heard from jon b i feel as though he is singing this song without much soul i don't hear the emotion i heard in jeff's voice he is just singing technically good
Love you Jon B but no one can touch Jeff on that song.
Who originally sang this song because I thought this was kenny latimores song
Jeff Buckley
jon b improved the song :l thats y i love jon b :)
did maxwell do one too?
Banger...This kat is to koo to be in comparison to anybody's justin or robin anybody...CONTINUES TO KILL THE GAME
@ ladybeaz I am right there with u I LOVE LOVE LOVE this man.
I like this one is better
Prefer Kenny Lattimore and Jeff Buckley...like someone said below Prince will kill it too...Love Job B but Ive heard it done much better.
speaking of that the Benjamin and Jefferson money is telling me that
...The sexiest white boy EVEEERRR!!
Jeff Buckley did it way better. Jon B.'s voice is lacking and the autotune is killing it. Regardless, I'm glad to see that he covered Jeff!
Nice but Kenny Lattimore KILLED IT!!!!
There used to be a live performance of Lattimore doing this and it was insane, so sexy. I wish it were still up, idk why it got deleted
jumpyourbone i hate I missed that!!
Yeah. This can't touch Kenny's version at all.
Told, her she "free" "playa"#💯👍
Strange...I feel Jons version is actually the best...🤷🏻♀️
honestly this is good but he should have done less of a jeff imitation he could've have personalized the cover the way jeff used to when he covered music
way better than kenny lattimore's version i think he tried too hard
agreed.. kenny blew this one out of the water!.. this was good but kinda boring
