I gotta have one cause as the 94-96 impala SS (96 being the best 1) the '14-'17 SS will be a collector. It's already a classic. but for any one that knows Chevy on any SS edition sincce the early 90's knows they only offer them in 1-3 year stints. So I'm sure there will be something special about the '17 SS that sets it apart from previous years. Only thing I dint like about car when I went to the dealer. Was that window sticker said engine assembled in Mexico. Wtf??? And as many reviewers of the car have said DONT get the 6 sp auto!!! Each dealer that orders them can only get 15 of them a year. So if anybody wants one you better get one as soon as it comes off the deliver truck. They are selling like crazy in TX.

You are right. I use to own a C5 2001 Z06. the window in the back should go straight down and there are no rear brake vents that is not a Z06 and the driver can't drive either!!!!
The announcer just demonstrated the problem most people have with the SS. Nobody knows what it is. I'm just patiently waiting for the day I can afford one.
I took a S4 on a test drive and it was disappointing. The steering is numb. It's good but it's kind of boring. The SS is more comfortable, especially in the back seat, faster, makes better sounds.
I had an S4 for 3 years before I traded it in when buying a Cayman S a few months ago. It was the funnest sedan I've ever driven. Ecu swap + basic bolt-ons and it was keeping up with M3s and killing any muscle car i ran into, especially straight off the line. I put a good 25k miles on it every year and drove it hard as hell and it only needed two minor repairs, a blown radiator due to AZ summer heat and a leaky power steering fluid hose. Engine was solid. It's also faster stock than the SS is, both 0-60 and track time. SS 0-60 is about 4.7-4.6, S4 is 4.3. Plus it was good for going out into the desert, you could basically drive it anywhere. Now I daily a subaru forester and I hate it, but at least I have the Porsche for weekends, and nothing competes with the Porsche with PDK and sport chrono as far as fun goes, 0-60 in 3.8 isn't too bad either.
I had a Audi RS5 and just got rid of it, thank god. For a high end sports car I had so many problems with it. I’ll never buy another Audi. I bought an Audi for my daughter as well, and yep... problems. Glad you had good luck with them.

Well, GM was just filling out the orders from Pontiac's G8 GXP, and got rid of a few extra LS3's, alpng with FINALLY using that SS name theyd had in reserve for years.
I hope those are factory wheels, there's no way I'd buy those. That car could look so much cleaner. I'm still trying to figure out if I like it or not.

+Kaufman Entertainment Dimensionally the cars are close but have differences obviously. You can get cast iron block LS engines and the LS3 handles boost no problem.
