Such an awesome prop build, I remember how blown away I was when I first saw it, and it’s still super cool! Maybe some day I’ll tackle this build myself!
I sold and collected so many ghost face masks over the years but only have a couple left in my collection since kind of getting out of the hobby. I admire how deep in the hobby you are. The movie series and these masks are just so freaking cool
ive used the audio rips from Gemmy's animated Ghostface from 2011, he sounds so amazing and crisps, lines from Scream 4 as well, definetly works perfect for something like this!
I own that thing I pulled the audio from the speaker and played it in my computer and downloaded it to an sd card. I used a voice amplifier from amazon with an SD slot, Wore it on my neck and scared people.
I want to send a big thank you for the tutorial. I was looking at components to do this on your last video but had never ordered anything. This made it even easier and gave me a little more motivation to get started plus easier to source all the right pieces to do so. I have it together and working although haven't actually secured everything with glue or adhesive just yet. I may also soldier the red light to the speaker connectors to light it up. I have made several Ghostface Halloween themed clips for trick or treaters this year and got a 25th anniversary costume. Thanks again, very much appreciated!
@@TheCBStudioOfficial it was! I made mine use the red button because it was the original voice changer. By the way, for someone who claims to have “limited technical knowledge” you’ve got some of the better soldering skills that I’ve seen lol

I have one like it, but I bought it off spirit Halloween. It’s good. I used this one settings you can use sound like yourself, but you just have to try your best impression of Ghostface. It’s not the best but I’ll do something.
@adanAguilar-z2t Hey, this is a one of one, and I’m not really intending to make another one, but this video shows all the modifications I made, once you have the parts you intend to use, you’ll likely have to work out a method that suits those pieces.
@TheCBStudioOfficial that's what i was thinking or a hot knife. I have the files downloaded to the soundboard, just waiting for the voice changer now. Only option I could find was the Blue one Thank you very much for all the help you provided. You are awesome
Quick question, how did you get the nice blood effect on the voice changer? I tried homemade recipes but it doesn’t give that same effect that you got, any tips would help, Thanks!
ive been looking everywhere to find just a voice changer box so i could switch out the sound boards but i cant find one for the life of me do you happen to know what brand you got it from or anything like that?
How did you go about painting up the blue voice changer? I can only find that one so I’m thinking about painting it but I’m not sure how it would be done. Also how bad was the chipping on the paint?
It was pretty straightforward. I made sure to use a spray plastic primer before I laid down the white paint, and it worked well. It does chip still slightly but the primer really helps.
Yes you will definitely need to take it apart to paint it properly, and I would only recommend spray paint or an airbrush to get an even coat over the whole prop
Alright thanks for the information. I’ll definitely be buying one now and painting it up, I might even had the blood because I think that looks really cool
Yes I just sent this link to another person wondering how to do it. Unfortunately this is a bit complicated for me but I thank you for the set up anyways!
You could absolutely do that, the sound chip device is VERY fragile though so you run a really high risk of damaging the parts if it’s just on the back
Yeah this pretty much is the tutorial. There’s a lot in a build like this that’s gonna rely on improvising and problem solving. Every build is gonna be different
@@TheCBStudioOfficial OK, thats alright. By the way, I saw another comment on this video talking about building the sound board into the mask itself. And im sorry to bother you again but was there a link to the “voice box” from the movie that you used in this video? Thanks for the help so far 😊
Hey man, I think the only thing you’d have trouble with putting it into your mask is having a button that isn’t obvious when you press it. Maybe run it on a long cable down your sleeve so you can have it in your glove to discreetly press it. I haven’t put any thought into that as I’ve been working on other projects. As for the voice changer, I just searched Telephone Voice changer on eBay and found one that was located close to me, punching that into eBay or Amazon should get you one nearby, just make sure it’s the correct white colour and looks right
