Thanks for the video I just recently had a hair transplant and I been wearing a headband wig since then. At first I was skeptical but I wasn't sure but actually wearing it I don't have no tension to my edges. This video only validate why they are safer than frontals
The band actually caused alot of breakage in my nape area. But to be fair, It was my first ever wig and I did wear the wig every day and sometimes even slept in it. ...and i wore the band tight...🤦🏿♀️. But lessons learned!!!
Ahahah! Love the confession! You are not the first to report negative results. I guess if your edges didn’t like it then stay away from it or give yourself breaks
Thankyou for the upload. I've never wore a wig before and have a few questions that I hope you'll answer. Wearing the stokking cap uner the wig, does that material catch at your hair leading to slow breakage? I also thought of sewing a strip of satin on the underside of the band do you think this is a good idea? Thankyou.
Hi there! I find that the cap offers protection from the rough material inside the wig and the combs inside the wig. If I wear my wig without the cap it snatches my hair so I would say use the wig cap. The headband wig comes with a silky material around the perimeter so I find no need to add any silk underneath it but you could if you like. My wig has a silky material already so it works really well as is. Hope this helps
I wear a velvet wig grip, no combs, and wear the wig slightly behind my edges. This helps to protect my hair from any damage!
Smart idea!
How do you apply that?
I use these when I need to give my edges a break. They definitely get me right.

Dry welcome! Am glad it was helpful
I haven't tried this type of wig however, thanks for the review.
It really sounds like a safe wigs for the delicate hairline
Best for the hairline I have ever tried 🤷🏽♀️
I tried the headband wig and I love it. It protects my edges. And looks very natural too.
Great to hear!
Love your video!! I was thinking about doing the same thing, wearing a headband wig for a month, and this video really helped me make my decision
Glad it was helpful! I think it’s a win if you can protect your hair while having access to it at any time you like

yes girl but I won’t walk around bald😪 i think this is the cause of my hair breakage in my nape, like my hair is missing in the back lol
The combs in the headband wigs took out my edges...sides and back 😞😞😞
Uuuuh stay away from it then
Same ! I am horrified
I put the wig Over my velvet wig band! Zero combs are pushed into my scalp!
I removed the combs

No information on the description box for purchase
It’s in there with a discount code please have a second look 😅
My headband wig took my edges out. My heart is so broken.
Oh wow! That’s no good! How long did you use it for? My hair seems to like it because of the silky material
Probably because u kept sticking down your edges each time u wore it. Gel & edge control dries & breaks the delicate hair around the edges
@@CoilyDiaries I used it for 3 months with my hair braided under. I would just get the braids redone.
@@2cut32handle Ahhh, probably! I did slick my edges everyday.
It took mines out too and a rescinding hairline up the back of my head 😞
I’ll imitate you and moisturize it with castor oil. Thank you for sharing!
Welcome
I tried purchasing the wig but it seems that they don’t have it anymore. 🙁
It’s definitely still available m.asteriahair.com/coily-hair-headband-wigs-human-hair-coily-curly-weaves-wigs.html

My edges where snatched from one of these. This has never happened with cornrows, relaxer or even wearing clip ins etc. I guess wigs aren't for me
Oh nooo! That’s not good!
Hi there I love your channel! What do you use to film?
Thanks hun. I use my phone to record. it's and iphone 11 pro :)
@@CoilyDiaries thank you very much 🙂
@@SimplyShev_hair welcome 🙏
Don’t put your hair in cornrows just do a very low bun it does not have to be tight just firm
great tip
Why no cornrows? I’ve been wearing straight flat twists and I’m noticing thinning around my edges 😢
What’s the length of this wig ?
16 inches😊
@@CoilyDiaries thank you.
Please sisters research human hair sacrifices tfs I wear synthetic headband wigs but pray to The Most High over everything 👍🏾💕🥺
