I looked into it and one of the ingredients in this serum is Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3. It encourages hair follicles in the telogen phase to enter the anagen phase and also increase strand thickness, so it actually is increasing density. There's some interesting studies on Research Gate and Pubmed about peptides and hair growth.

I was wondering since I have curly hair I tend to only wash my hair once a week so how do I balance me having to put this serum daily on a clean scalp and my shower routine?
I have 4 c hair and have been using this product for over 2-3 weeks now consecutively and see a different in terms of hair growing back, how I use it is right after wash day, and then the next day if I feel like my scalp needs it and then two days later, because I wash my hair once a week I am using this product 3 times a week before washing it out and I have see a difference.

The number of follicles on your head is finite yes. Best for people experiencing more shedding and breakage than usual.

Many people’s scalp can stay clean past 7 days and the product is very light and absorbs easily. You should be fine to apply it until your wash day
