Unbelievable that the so-called antiques expert sells 300+ teapots for less than £1 each. He should def know better than that. What a shame there was no one to stop him fleecing her.
Exactly. Curtis is awful. Nothing sells for real money on this show. Always minuscule, meaningless amounts for every sale. They weren’t even smart enough to fake some of the sales for higher excitement.
I was thinking the same. £1 teapot.. when the lady bought them or gifts she received, would of cost a lot more. Some of them teapot would of been collectible. Is really sad, that no one cares about the past. Just knee flashy things that don’t last the same way. British workmen craft, all gone.
@@andreac6064 Those teapots, are wonderful. They could have been a great collection to buy. Curtis, isn't good, for getting money for the people. Those items, are worth a lot of money. I don't trust him.
This Curtis guy literally gives peoples shit away for free in this show, some of this stuff is worth over £££ and he'll be like "50p and a free chocolate bar"
7:53 "It's just sitting there doing nothing..." The pipe: "I'm an inanimate object, I have no choice but to sit here and do nothing, please don't sell me because of that! 😭"
Well done. They still have LOADS more clutter than I do actually. For me the time spent packing tea pots I could have earned the cost of what they were sold for £250. On that basis I give away a lot of stuff rather than lose the time and therefore earning time - involved in say an Ebay sale of £20. That is the balance for many people. What lovely people all of them.... Once you tell family you collect X they give you X forever even if you stop liking those things so she is wise to warn others. The stuff for the grand daughter is just going to mess up the daughter's house so may be best just to give that away too.
If Eileen's daughter still likes glass fish, I've got three of them she can have. My brother's always giving me ridiculous or horrendous garden ornaments because he knows i have to put them out front for all the neighbors to see. It would be a bit amusing if I weren't a ceramics designer-- *Garden* Ceramics 🤨
My mother in law has horder disorder, her home full with junk, teapot etc… she never has friends bcos she embarrassed if someone sees her messy home… she always says those junks keep her company at home, she will be sad if we remove the stuff away 😭😭😭
People in this show seem to be more collectors than hoarder, or borderline hoarders. They are getting rid of stuff quite easily. Curtis isn't for everybody, but the main point seems to be to clear rooms. Certainly they could get more money selling things themselves, but clearly they haven't managed.
I’m not sure if the narrator lady is some famous person in the UK but omg she’s annoying. Meaningless remarks every 30 seconds, breaking the fourth wall, etc is a bit annoying.
@BetTheMoneyLine it's Louise Jameson, who played Leela on Dr. Who (with the 4th Doctor, Tom Baker). I agree that the voice over copy is super irritating, though I'm sure none of it is her doing, bc she's just paid to read the script that whomever wrote to narrate this show (so that is who deserves our ire). I simply enjoy watching the process of regular people working through their excess possessions, it helps motivate me-I don't need cutesy music or snappy zingers to "make it interesting".
Shows like this make me realise it’s not worth holding onto stuff for 20 years just to get $40 for it. Space is worth a lot more!

I agree he could have got alot more money for them

This show deserved WAY more than 15 episodes. The format is rock solid and the personalities were awesome. Bring it back or bring it stateside!
Yeah show was great but curtis needs to go everytime he sells something he dosnt get anywhere near what he should. Every show uggh
The worst part is "oh she collects teapots" and then everybody starts to give her teapots every single time they need to give her a gift
That's why I tell everyone I collect vodka.
@@einahsirro1488 I'm dismantling my hoard as we speak, I'll try the vodka line from here on in! Thanks Einah

I am beginning to find him a bit creepy ... a bit con creepy ...

It's so sweet the grandma would get rid of her collection for grandchildren.
She doesn't want to risk liddlies breaking them
Bless john - the spin in the jacket was everything for me
Those tea pots is making me boil over…
I got distracted this morning when cleaning out my kitchen and frig. I had to remind myself to stay on track.
That lady with teapots was scammed big time XDXDX I cannot watch this
He says that something is £100 to £150 and proceeds to sell it for £30 to £50😣
Curtis does not know what he's doing. I could sell my stuff for more money on eBay. I would not even let him in my house.
Rumor has it that Curtis holds his hands and rubs his hands together for 17 hours a day.
Eileen could have got much more for those Murano glass fish. 🐠 Easy to sell them way below what they are really worth. 🤷🏻♂️
Thank you filth, love your channel 👍😊🤗🙃🤩🌌

He can get more for them board games over a £100
He could have got alot more for all the tea pots
jeusus their dining room is smaller than my bedroom, its like the size of my bathroom lol

I've watched a bunch of these UK videos and it seems that purple is the favorite color.

Curtis loves giving people's stuff away for cheap.
Not if it was his
Think Curtis let’s some things go too cheaply.
I love British hoarders.

Please don't get rid of the Tea Pots love, what a beautiful collection girl, WOW, I wish I could have some lol, blessed be 😇😇😇
Take incompetent Curtis off.call a spade a spade !
00:11 Proper Dave is that you ? nobody will understand this
I was so excited to see pagans on here. Then pissed when Curtis rummaged on their alter
I prefer the man doing the voice over in the older videos over the woman. 😫

Why not ask for at least 2 -- 3 pounds per tea pot? Curtis is awful!
I hope this show is paying these people a pretty penny for bei g on this show.
Still too many nik naks for my liking, and hate the fake flowers.
