The Guardian just keeps promoting Vox. The leaders of Vox were all in the PP before. There isn't anything new here. Just The Guardian trying to sell a story... What would be a story is the fact that the Vox vote was double the national average in areas where the Guardia Civil and the army have their barracks and military installations. That is worrying...
Indeed, indeed.
I hope vox wins.
"unlisted"? nani
Everywhere I been to in the world I have seen spanish migrants. There is not a coffee shop or restaurant that doesn't have young spanish people escaping Spain.
@To Err is Huma It makes perfect sense - it's hypocritical. Poor Spanish people with few opportunties are migrating in droves just like these poor Moroccans for similar reasons.
The youth unemployment you speak of wasn't caused by migrants (who are doing the jobs Spaniards won't do like work in greenhouses in Almería, a massive source of revenue for the Spanish economy), it is the consequence of an international financial crisis that affected many countries apart from Spain, the lack of regulation of the real estate and banking sectors and the governing of successive shitey, corrupt governments on both the left and the right who ran their country into the ground. Blaming poor foreigners is the lazy, anti-intellectual way out. VOX play on people's ignorance and desire to find an easy escape goat.
If the foreigners all left, Spain would turn into the land of milk and honey? Yeah right. Only the truly stupid would agree with that.
@percival archibald So according to you, it depends on the country you migrate to that makes you an expat or an immigrant?
@percival archibald So why are europeans who migrate to other countries expats but when others come to europe they are 'immigrants'?
@percival archibald Whenever I go to London. I see tons and tons of spanish people working in coffee shops, cafes, restaurants or shops cause they make more there in 1 month what they would make in 4 months in Spain.
There are always people wanting to move to Spain to make the most of it. Like the asians.
This is not different in the USA, in the rural, poor areas is where you can find this kind of people. This are the spanish equivalent to the southerners and their confederate flag
It isn't the poor poeple, it's the ones ho have lived with inmigrants and know what's up.

No, the local should not adopt to the ways of the immigrants, the immigrants need to adapt to the culture of the country they move to and demand nothing, other than simple respect. Don't push your ways or religion on the local culture as you do not have that right.
Yup, "too many immigrants" - I wonder how the poor Amerindians felt when their lands were invaded, pillaged and destroyed by the Spanish. The irony, que triste!
Actually, the Spanish kinda liked the Moors (in the C16th anyway).
Open borders didn't work out well for the Indians. Europe is for the Europeans. Deport the foreign people before civil war.
