About the souvenirs: you could also buy a post card if you'd really like to bring home something. I have a box full of post cards from all different places 😍 light weight and easy to keep at home without clogging up your place

Teens: One to three day trips from organisations are great too. Was in Amsterdam for 1 full day and only paid 30 €. Inclusive a breakfast and bus trip to get there and get back and a tour with a ship through Amsterdam. Look out for those one day trips cuz they also can be enough (this trip was from ,,Sparkasse" in Germany) also great for teens with parents that can't afford travelling but still want to travel. Also great for travelling with friends.

I love how you said the only time something got stolen was in an all-female dorm. Bc my shittiest hostel experience was also in a female dorm as the social interactions were dead. It was my worst hostel experience, based on a variety of reasons, but the lack of socialisation and oxygen in the room were part of it.

I went to Costa Rica during the rainy season and it was amazing. We went on excursion during the day and never got wet. It also only rains for about 30 minutes in the evening then your done for the day. It's very affordable. If you go through a travel agent, you can get some good all inclusive deals during the rainy season. The people there are friendly, the crime rate is very low and the food is amazingly fresh. The food taste like they went out side pull it off a tree and put it on your plate.

That's exactly it!!! Buying things you don't need instead of saving for the travel will get you every time! I just did a video on the same topic- it took me about 5 years to realize if I just swapped out the money I was spending on shopping, etc, that I could make travel a reality in my life. And it has changed everything. ❤️ Thanks for the video Sorelle!

...the tip about Croatia is true :) even though July and August are considered to be "the highest summer season" with longest days and best (sunny) weather...if you really wanna enjoy Croatia you should book May/June or September...the sea might me a bit chilly but you will not be stuck in traffic jams all over the coast, the prices will be lower and you will be able to visit more places in peace and get to know the country/the culture/the people more than during the "high" season :) greetings from Croatia :)

My college ID doesn’t have an expiration date so I always take it with me...and I look way younger than I am. So I always ask if there’s a student or young person discount. 9 times out of 10 they take my word for it and don’t ask for ID.

video idea, if you haven't done it... (I have not seen it, but it could be there somewhere) Is a packing video, but not just the "normal" packing video, but where you show what you took and *did not use at all*, because that would be interesting... we've all done it. Time and time again haha. Anyway, that was in reference to tip #10 :D

About tours: Use free guided tours! Especially in Europe it's very common that local people show travellers around. They are absolutely great to discover a new city, get an insight view and cool bits of knowledge you wouldn't know otherwise. You can still give the guide a tip if you liked the tour and if not - you can just leave.
