What was the total cost to 3d print my sons Iron Man Suit for Halloween?
Not only did he have a blast pretending to be Iron Man, but he also got to learn about how 3D printing works. This is an incredible technology that is changing the world, and we are so happy that we could give our son this experience.

While many ppl will celebrate your work....we should celebrate your fatherhood as well. Awesome project and I'm sure your son will never forget this!
Thank you Roy! Super kind of you to say that
This was a great, informative video! I love the fact that you broke the costs down, item by item. I just got started on building my 4-year old his War Machine costume and I'm learning a lot about this process so this was really helpful. 3 months was really fast btw! Congrats! The suit came out really, really well!
Thank you for the kind words Kevin! I appreciate it.
Totally awesome! done a fantastic job. Be good to see more on how you made/assembled/wired the Arc reactor :)
Thank you very much! Sounds like I have some videos to record :)
This is way cool! I did a darth vader costume for my son last year. This year he wants me to attempt iron man with the electronics.
When I tell the wife "Honey, I'm building this for our son" well yeah, also a "test run" for me LOL
That kid is so lucky to have a cool Dad like you man! awesome job!!!
That's a super kind thng to say, thank you. Also, heck yeah I'm building one for me next LOL
Dude! This is AWESOME if my kid wants to be iron man for Halloween I will make this.
Thank you!
Love it , my 8 year old son wants me to print him a iron man suit and I’m thinking about it.
He will LOVE it. You can always start with a helmet, and work from there. We started with a black panther helmet last year which sort of boosted our confidence enough to think we could pull this off.
@@ALLYOURTECH3DP cheers
You are a great father!
Thank you my friend! Such a fun project
Which Mark 85 stl file did you use? DO3D?
I did. We used the DO3D model, and we were happy with it. I have seen some new helmet designs pop up that have the mounts for the servo motors and arms built in. That would save a TON of headache when motorizing the helmet.
