"This is another one of my videos, where I talk about doing stuff, but I am not doing it." Yeah, but the stuff you are not doing can be just as interesting and informative as your awesome river treks :)
Congrats on the new car and kayak! I'm glad the marketplace worked out for ya. Always nice to see the town from the angle of the river. Thanks for the info about the tides, that's really useful! And I'm so glad Henry is okay!!
Nice new yak! Congratulations! Finally, first paddle! I've been looking forward to it. I've been out only once so far this season, and I was exhausted after. Glad to hear Henry is doing well. Many more adventures ahead. Great video, as always! Congrats on the 1.3k followers too, awesome.
Hey Kaptain! I was up in Canton a few weeks ago, I wast tempted to drive instead of fly and maybe get the Kayak on some of those beautiful waterways up there. Hope you get out there more, thanks for tuning in, and making this worth dong. TGIF!
This is a great channel, thanks for filming this. When you're driving on all these highways and through these towns you always wonder what the rivers are like, and I love seeing all the old industrial stuff up close.
Hi Matt it’s great that you have the curiosity. I lived across the street from the rahway river for about 2 years. I never even looked at it. Now I feel like I want to know every inch of it, I find it fascinating , it tells a story . Thanks for the kind words , hope you enjoy the rivers too
Hi my name is Mark. I am in Texas. I am from the Bronx. I have been here for 35 years. I married my wife Ruth and we have been married 34 years. Recently got interested in kayaking. I bought 2 Eddyline Sandpipers for us to get out on water. Inspired by you and Two Feet Outdoors. We have Bridgeport Lake here which we will use. It is connected to the Trinity River. I also have Oru Kayak Costal XT. It is folding Kayak. Looking forward to kayaking!
Hi Mark, that sounds so awesome. I’m excited for you both. Eddyline is fantastic. I grew up in the Bronx too , they call it “Norwood” now. I used to be j. The Bronx River more than my mother knew about. Keep us posted on your new adventures in the kayaks
Thanks for posting this! I live in Clifton and have been thinking of getting a paddleboard, do you know if it's OK to enter lakes/ponds/reservoirs at parks like Rifle Camp Park or Saddle River County Park? Have you ever launched from Aqueduct Park in Lincoln Park/Wayne?
Hi there! Please make sure you DO get out there and paddle! Im not too familiar with those waterways. I would join this group, the folks in there are all over these waterways and know all the tips and tricks facebook.com/groups/newjerseypaddle
Hey there my friend. Love that wilderness Yak. Whats that a 10 footer? Good to see you out. I got a few Yaks I bought over the winter to test to make sure there's no leaks. Didn't know you could launch outta that park. Just passed it over the weekend. Guess i would need to know when the water is high enough. Let me know if you decide to do that Pocono Yak ride down the delaware river. I hope you got to take the kayak racks off the VW. Safe travels bud.
Hey Ken! The pungo is a 12 footer . Yeah we should do the Delaware water gap, it’s awesome. And btw , the launch is good at at any tide level going east towards the Arthur kill, going west low tide can get impassable up near bridge street . Check this tool out www.saltwatertides.com/
I prefer the Pungo right now. although, I had my eye on the newer Old town loon 126. My old town loon is a 138, probably made in 2006. I would love to try a new loon 126, because i really love the old town kayaks in general. but comparing this 6 year old pungo to an almost 20 year old loon, the pungo wins for me right now. (tracks much better, lighter, 12 feet vs 14)
@@OutDehExplorer you get used to it..I left elizabeth NJ back in the day and got here and felt like my first apartment living in an oven..I dont know how people lived here before air conditioners...I love watching your vids seeing jersey..cool shots ..have a great day and hope you enjoyed orlando after you wrung out you soaking wet shirts... peace brother
That video was a wild ride for me. Love the new kayak, and especially love that it matches your hair! Towards the end you are paddling with the tide and you were FLYING. The view under those bridges is fascinating, and I love the juxtaposition of the calm river with the trains, the planes, the helicopter. Henry's health scare had me pretty tense. Glad to know he's doing better. At one point you gave me a shout out and I''m thrilled! I had to rewind and watch it a few times, lol. It really means a lot to me.
Keep up the great vids , the collabs with your friends are really cool. I feel like Nova Scotia is like a magical world far away. Thanks for the support 🫎

Which kayak do you like better? The Pungo or your Loon?

I bungee the seat back so it doesnt fall under me getting in.
Hey Richard, thanks for that tip!, makes sense, i have a few mini bungees that would work great. Hope you're having a great Spring🌿
Great tip, and so simple. Why didn't I think of that?
What's up buddy
