You're absolutely right on that one. A lot of songs we've written over the years started on acoustic. They were nowhere near as good as this Band-Maid song though haha.

What I love most about this version is that Kanami gets to stretch her vocal muscles! Her voice is like a secret weapon! So clean and pure!❤🎙🎼🎸🤘 The only thing about micing up an acoustic guitar live, is that it often is nightmarish for the sound engineer. In the studio you only have to really worry about is phase issues and the occasional bumping of a mic. Live you have the added issue of feedback. Plus Kanami's tech is running around like a mad mad throughout the show without having to worry about the moving of another mic/stand. It's worth the sacrifice of a bit of tone for convenience.

There are several songs that they have done acoustic versions. Yolo, this one and Daydreaming are among the best though to be certain this band simply does not make bad music.
The. feelings in both versions are completely different.....in this version you get a very emotional and sad feelings....while the regular version you have a more active and aggressive feeling about the same situation in life.....
This 'acoustic version' would sounds more emotional to many people's ears. But it's not so much because it's acoustic but because of the way to be played. Remember Led Zeppelin's 'Stairway to Heaven', not regarded acoustic.

Kanami (Mincho) Lead Guitar and Acoustic Guitar and Piano and song writer and Sensai (teacher) to Miku Rhythm Guitar was originaly Knicknamed Tsunami for her Solo's but it was later found out she hated being referred to as a natural disaster so Gentle Breeze is my apology
Got another suggestion, Not a Japanese band but forgotten masterpiece, Atomship - Crash of '47, Check out the Tracks Day of Daze, Mothra, Whitfield, Agent Orange, and Withered. Their Drummer is next level, and just I wish more people knew about his band.
