  • Few half throttle to 3/4 pulls. Breaking in the J swap. The bottom bar on the nav pod screen is throttle. Just a shorty video. I'll have lots more content later. This was second drive with the swap. Initial thoughts are sounds just as good, lots more torque based on my butt dyno assumptions. Glad we got it in there.

Could you do some footage from the outside next time? Exhaust cam or flyby for example 🤔

this is just a few half throttle pulls during the break in period. I'll post a lot more stuff later

Love the car mate, I think you mistyped the engine code. Should be a C where the J is. Jokes.

It's got 58k on it, it's tucked away safely. For now, avoiding NSX tax was my move.

@@THETURBROS did you use the nsx transmission or the j32 transmission? What mount kit did you use?

I currently drive an 07 Tl with a J32, what made you wanna drop one in the NSX? Dope car g👌

Hell ya. I've had 4 TL's. 99 was my first car, I had a 2005 a spec, 2008, and a 2002 TLS. The motor is obviously the same as the 02TLS so it's kind of nostalgic. It's a very similar motor to the C, it revs fast and high, which makes it a good match for the trans. Type S motor, type S steering wheel, type S shift knob. If I only had the seats. I would sell them and buy a new car with the money lol.

Also, when the C breaks, things get very expensive. I got this motor for $400. Want to build a Franken-J at some point too. J35a3 with J32a2 pistons, cams and intake. Think of it as a J35a8. The things that ppl are doing with these J series are awesome. Lots of support, cheap torque-y power. The NSX deserves a V6.

Were you able to save the same turbo kit from before you swapped from C to J? Details on turbo kit?

yes kept same turbo kit. I have a turbo build video on the channel that you should watch. It's a foundry turbo kit. Extensive details on the video.

@@THETURBROS Thanks for the info! Was looking for a relatively easy bolt on kit that would work for the same piping between C and J-Series, because I too am working through a J-swap and there haven't yet been many easy solutions that I'd found for the J yet.
