I have played PvZ Heroes which can also be called PvZHeroes abbreviated to PvZH part of the PvZ franchise but this game has Heroes, it is a Card Game, more specifically a Collectible Card Game, which is called a CCGS as well, it has Plants, Zombies to fight, Plants versus Zombies is a great franchise so I love it, Plants vs. Zombies is also another name since some people include the dot, Plant vs. Zombies is another name when you forget, Plants vs Zombies is the one without the dot, Plant vs Zombie is dumb idk who forgets both plural forms, just call me RCCH, but you might know me as RCCHGaming, or RCCHGaming123 from Minecraft and Roblox, and PvZTryhard calls me RCC, but FryEmUp or Fry Em Up calls me RCCH or just call me RC I now play Brutal mode which is hard mode made harder also called pvz beta mode but also hard mode harder which is pvz plus harder also known as PvZ+ and I love it's so hard it's a difficult version sometimes it's Kaizo hard yay metadata finished

RCCH when he wants to cook some dinner but pans aren't attacking him, vegetables don't explode and the time on the oven isnt rng (too easy for him)

im glad plants vs zombies modders have identified that the big issue with the game is that is was fun, so they decided to get rid of that

Interesting? I personally think it is unfair, hard should not rely too heavily on RNG, ik brutal mode and ex+ also have many RNG element but this one is on another level.
RCCH viewers the type of people to look at a zombie who teleports forward 1/5th the lawn on hit based on RNG and think it looks fun and interesting.

Some of the concepts are semi interesting but others seems to be pure RNG fiesta
I believe it’s because making the player rely on RNG is a lot easier than actually planning out how to make challenging, yet fair new zombies.

How to make an impossible difficulty mod:
Step number 1: unfair minigames
Step number 2:make zombie variants that are outstraight unfair.
Step number 3: Newspaper
Step number 4: rework plants (required so that it can be beaten in ∞ attemps)
Step number 5: make every other zombies unfair and/or their variants
Also make football zombie survive 2 instant kills
Step 6: buff doom shroom
Step 7: translate every word to chinese
Step 8: add paid powerups and micro transactions

Ngl, what they did to hypno shroom just makes me angry. Like, they made it a 1-zombie insta-kill (sometimes), but then give you a screen wiping insta-kill a few levels later that only costs 25 sun more and does slightly less damage than hypno shroom.

I always thought that Brutal Mode EX+ would be a lot of fun to play minus the RNG. Some people like to play difficult games, so I don't see it as masochistic.
But I fail to see how anyone could ever enjoy that pole vaulter stage... It's painful just to watch

honestly i find the idea of making the mod almost completely infeasible but still _technically_ possible pretty interesting
honestly i don't mind extreme difficulty as long as it's not rng.
the game deciding it's impossible to win isn't hard, it's bad game design.
it's ultimately unsatisfying when you win a hard level not because you concoured the challenge but because you got a good run.
obviously good runs in themselves can be satisfying and rougelikes tend to do a good job of being possible with a bad loadout but giving worse players a chance to actually experience later game content. but that's the key, you can still win when you're given a bad roll. shit like hard mode mods or fnaf max modes have zero checks to prevent impossible situations.
It is fun, you can't place plants without strategy, or you'll lose, and any small mistakes you make, can be what ends your game if you don't recover
And only levels after 6-5 are extremely painful (there are some toggleables, and Evo plants to make things easier)
It's honestly fun, and requires focus, attention, and managing things well
RNG can play a large part at times, but Brutal Mode EX+ is fun to play, and beat, everything feels like it matters
That being said, a few improvements could make it one of the best experiences (it already is a great gaming experience, though RNG can cause issues at times, but it rivals shooters in experience still)

I really hate strategy games where the main "strategy" is "hope for good rng" that's just not fun
I know that the purpose of this mod is "make it hardest possible" but it's just tiring to watch. You get almost nothing versus what the zombies get. You get maybe an overall 10% buff to their outright multipliers. The complete lack of scaling shows that it wasn't meant to be played seriously, just be shown off in a few videos to hold a nebulous title.
This challenge is even harder with:
-Veterans on every flag
-No mowers
-No plant buffs
-No falling sun from the sky
-Doubled recharges
-Gargantuars in the final wave of every level
To balance it, we would need:
-Halved zombie spawn (only 4x increased spawn)
-100 sun production meta
-Free lily pads, flower pots, and pumpkins (pumpkins have 100 second recharge)
Add Bungee Ambushes in every flag in every single level
Either RCCH has nerves out of diamonds or his room is just ash

It kinda makes me think of Paper Mario: Master Quest, which is a balls-to-the-wall brutally difficult ROM hack of the original N64 Paper Mario, but had some really creative ideas amidst the chaos of _every encounter and/or enemy attack being cracked as fuck_
(There is a "Junior" version of that hack at least that scales everything back so that it's closer to vanilla balancing, while still giving you the new content)
1-7 was basically a race between olympic pole vaulters and endermen coneheads to see whoever can ruin your day first!
