    Very nice wash-in. Also nothing going wrong here. No washers going out of balance. No Tide Pod Challenge either.

      Of course not. I do laundry the old-fashioned way, with older machine that work, and don't get into social media. All trouble saved!

    Thanks for another great wash video Jay. The noise the 94 machine is making during spin is likely the spin bearing beginning to wear out. No big deal as the part is still available.

      One day it just started making that sound. Oh well. When they need service, they will get service. But they live in a nice relaxing environment, with at most half the work one of these would have to endure.

    If you ever do wanna get the iron stains out of the newer machine, especially with it having the white tub, use Iron Out which I’m sure you have heard of. Magical stuff, very cheap. Takes it all out the first time usually. Will look brand new again after the treatment. Could definitely film it too for some new exclusive content for the twerps here too

      I have Iron Out. Why wouldn't I? Not sure how well it will work on that plastic. It's kind of like Tupperware you've had tomato sauce in, it stays like that forever. I'm sure Iron Out would work well on fabric, like it's designed for.

      @@jaykay18 We had a old dishwasher with a plastic tub, it was completely stained orange from top to bottom when we moved in, the chrome spray arm was literally gold from the iron. Many many years later I decided to do something about it. One run with a cup of Iron Out and the entire interior was like new again, the spray arm was even its chrome yet again. I didn’t think it would work well either…also used it for my own Whirlpool washer for the iron in the tub and that came out instantly as well.

    I think it's important for the twerps to switch sides or else they will end up with one arm looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger and the other looking like Twiggy. Gotta keep them balanced.

    My Speed Queen electric dryer quit heating after seven years. Is it more likely a fuse, heating element, or limit. What is the most common cause for an old-school electric dryer to not heat?. I do have a high-end multimeter if that is needed. I am nineteen and am training to repair equipment currently.

    • @jaykay18
      @jaykay18  10 місяців тому +1

      You are correct in your assumptions. It's also possible the heating coil itself has failed. The way you know what went is your multimeter. Isolate each component by disconnecting it, and meter for continuity.

    • @applianceman6009
      @applianceman6009 10 місяців тому

      Definitely. It turns out that the high limit was going bad, and that tripped it’s fuse. I went to an appliance parts store, and I bought a new limit and fuse. As soon as I replaced those two parts, it was working again! I got 10.8 ohms for the heating element, so I knew that it was still good, and I did not need to waste my time removing it!
