Crankshaft dynamic balancing

Finished! After probably 6 hours of work. Oldsmobile 425 steel crank balanced for a Mahle piston approx. 250 grams lighter than a stock piston. Done on a Stewart Warner 2380 industrial balancing machine.

Had one of those old Stewart Warner balancers. Vacuum tubes and strobe light. Great machine. Always took forever to balance a crank but when you were done it was as perfect as possible. I've owned 3 different crankshaft balancers since that style, but looking back that balancer was probably the best. Nothing better than good old made in the United States of America
