8500 rpm revlimit in Super Touring :) Always loved these Alfas, and they were really successfull on the continent, sadly less so here in Sweden, but i guess that more down to team effort, than the actual car.
Anybody else notice the wheels kept changing colors from black to white, front to back? I’m sure footage was shot on different days but that will tend to mess with ones mind. Lol
Honestly I don't like Alfa that much because of my zero experience with the machine. Now that's said, something about the engine sound it makes, especially in high rpm, she sounds Godly.
No, Super 2000 did not exist when this car was raced. This is a 2 liter naturally aspirated Alfa Romeo engine, with around 300 hp + hp, and it revs to 8500 rpm. Sorry.
@@aleksandr_elkov Normally its a 1.8l twin spark engine block bored with custom pistons and con-rods, reworked cylinder head, throttle bodies, Camshafts and the list goes on. Alfa raced this cars in several touring competitions, theres lots of info on these engines, they're real twin sparks but with profound changes.

156 best car for ever!! with 1.9 jtd and 3.2 V6 GTA as sedan. call me a better one? than you don't know this car or you know it to less.
