For anyone new to the QSMP lore. New residents arrived to the island and they had one rule, “Do not touch the red button”. However, they disregarded the rule and the wall was destroyed which made the mother dragon fly away, leaving her eggs. The residents of the island were paired up and tasked to take care of the eggs. The eggs consist of Tilin (bow), Chayanne (floaty), Juanaflippa (glasses), Trump (propeller hat), Ramon (mustache), Leonarda (baseball cap), Bobby (overalls), Dapper (top hat), and Tallulah (beanie).
The eggs feel very alone in this. Their parents are usually the focus of the drama and the eggs are just casualties or along for the ride, but this really captures a feeling of them longing for more, but not knowing what. There’s this sense of impending doom or hope. It’s not clear, but something big is coming (as we know from the countdown), but this captures that mood very well.

AHHHH YOUR EGG DESIGNS- they're so good and have my insides melting at their cuteness T-T. Gotta love how Bobby looked so disgruntled/spoiled in the first shot of his. Another thing I love is how in 1:59, the lyrics match up so well with Musicduo because "you gave me more than I could ask for" somehow connects "I have a lot to give" from one of Tallulah's signs
I love Tilin's expressions on "He has a wild imagination / And tells me things that must be true". They're all like "my dad is So Weird; I don't understand anything he says -_- but I love him though :->"

YESSS I'VE JUST BEEN LISTENING TO SONGS BY FISH IN A BIRDCAGE TODAY AND YOU MADE AN QSMP EGG ANIMATIC ABOUT IT! I honestly find the animatic super cool because it focuses on what the eggs are experiencing. We usually think about the eggs from the perspective of the streamers but here, you show how they must be feeling about all this. I think the lines "he tell me things that must be true" as well as "you gave me more than I could ask for - indistinguishability" are especially interesting in the context - the streamers are raising the eggs as human (or well, humanoid, in some cases) children and the eggs learn everything from them. The parents give them the feeling that they are alike, a family no matter how different they might look like. The eggs are regarding QSMP's characters as parents, aunts and uncles and they truly love them. I don't think that any of them would want to leave that comfort and source of affection they've found. So what happens when the mother dragon returns? Do we really think that the eggs will just go with her? I truly doubt it, I can't imagine a world where sweet Tallulah simply leaves her papi who might as well be her soulmate with the love for music they share, or loving Leo turns her back on her parents that give her everything and that she seems to almost idolize. Then again, the announcement the players got did not give off the impression that anybody's gonna have a choice over anything, here. It felt like a threat. But what did it mean, exactly? You paint a possibility in your animatic, the possibility that they will grow into dragons and lose their humanity... And really, it's a scenario that I hadn't considered but it would make sense. It would be brutal and tragic to see the parents fight against their former children, a cruel outcome indeed. (But at the same time, it could be that the server will actually hunt the eggs down with code creatures and kill them in front of their parents which would also be a dramatic outcome. Then again, the server sent code dragons the last time it did that so there might even be a connection between the mother dragon and the code creatures here...) Either way, the manner in which you showed the eggs in their free time is absolutely wonderful! The personalities of the egg children are portrayed perfectly and you gave us an insight into what they're probably doing when their parents aren't around... Chayanne waiting for a new adventure, Leo toying with her endless riches, Ramón simply sleeping all the time... And don't get me started on the designs, they are so cute (Bobby missing a tooth is such a fitting detail; I also likes how you make Tilín look petite and a little tired... I can't quite describe it, but it fits her strangely well)! And of course, the hints at the story beats with their parents were fantastic - some of them were really fun (like Dapper with the frigging tazer, I love him and I appreciate that you gave him screentime, he sometimes gets forgotten - actually I love that you gave all of the eggs screentime) but there were also some somber parts... Trump alone in the dark and Tilín bleeding were sad to watch, and seeing Juanaflipa be resurrected when you know what's gonna happen after is... It's tragic. But that's the best part about the time we got to spend with the eggs, right? It was (and currently still is) a story arc that it very lighthearted and silly, wholesome and heartwarming and yet, there is so much tension and angst involved... It's a part of the server history that allowed us both to laugh and cry about (metaphorically but sometimes, I imagine, also literally). I really don't want the arc to end but... Everything ends at some point, right? I, for one, am glad we got to know the eggs and see the streamers parent them :)
I am very excited to see how the story goes on Sunday. I don’t think it’s the end of the eggs as characters… Well I really hope it’s not. We shall see. So glad we could get another SMP series like this

tbh, i'm way more used to your more angular style, so seeing Wilbur in a more round and softer style made me go "oh god he got filed down, he's all smoothed out now" and stuff XD anyway, i think the way you draw the egg children is so adorable! i love how you captured their characterization in this animatic!
