Bernard Butler, new song [Camber Sands], @ Green Note, Camden, 8.1.24

On a freezing cold early January night shortly after the new year began, Bernard held 3 nights at the wee living room that is the Green Note. I went on the Monday and what a way to start the week. I love listening to Bernard's tales, explanations and anecdotes. It was just him and his myriad of guitars, brought on by son Charlie.
Bernard has a new album coming out this year so the night featured a lot of songs that will be appearing on the album. I look forward to hearing them with full instrumentation. I don't know the name of this song either but I've heard it before at his solo shows since 2021 as it mentions 'Camber Sands'. He introduces it by talking about how he has a fantasy of living by the sea but the reality isn't as attractive.
