If you make sure to pick up clues it's pretty hard to go broke in this game if you budget within reason. Hunts give money, the ritual, events, rankups, twitch drops etc. Remember that everything bounty related gives money even on death so all clues, bosslair discovery, boss kill, banish all give money even if you die
I’m honestly all for bullet drop. Hunt has many aspects of the game that are intentionally realistic, such as gun sounds and volume, damage figures, muzzle velocity. It only makes sense to add one of the most realistic aspect of shoot guns at long range. It’s certainly breaks immersion when I can stand 200m away from a hunter standing still and have a bullet travel in a perfectly straight line. It was also add a lot more skill to get a one tap kill with a headshot, as just standing still for more than 1 second won’t get you punished back to the lobby as often.
Just make sure you avoid the subreddit. "Illusion of truth" is hella strong there,lol. but ya. Hunt is def my main shooter now because somehow I really love the lack of magic pockets,lol.guns wiht actual cycle times, things able to go to hell almost instantly but making those clutches just makes it OH so much worth it. Hell even the down time between the fights makes the action feel even more intense. and ow gawd...Aug 15 big update "1896" and new engine is friggen SO EXCITING. honestly sole survival is a mix of "warm up" and "im out of money so ima see if I can get a free hunter by winning" (or in my case...I just need 200 more wellsprings to get the last cheevos) also have you missed all the events? it shaked things up ALOT to the point people were getting annoyed by it and getting event fatigue >.< (the unique perks and the initial release of new weapons really amde things feel different...and honestly I kinda wish they made totems a permenant feature in the game,lol) but honestly it was an interesting time were they tried out some REALLY out there perks to see if it makes a good fit. now we have relentless,deathcheat,remedy, shadow. and in the future I think they said they are adding in shadow leap? (teleport to enemy AI by channeling + 20hp) also you missed the most important part...you can pet the beetle by using the (I)nspect key. you dont understand this is VERY VERY VERY important feature

I suck at it gameplay wise, but the atmosphere, setting, and art design are amazing.
