This is the type of playthrough I delight sitting and watching in some chilling afternoon. Dude was clearly overcoming tight situations, making mistakes, getting nervous, but still nailing level after level in the end. No shitty robotic skills. A true gaming artwork to show and tell.

I dunno about all this backlash about the game. I don't know how the controls are, but the idea is there and all those models are adorable. The soundtrack is all a bop and there isn't any devastating plotline to the game since it's a racing game, which is perfect for Sonic the speedster himself. Bouncing around all over on foot, taking shortcuts and doing a double jump to reach the tokens. Like, the game is a perfect representation of that high-energy that Sonic lacks nowadays. Maybe he got too old. We're always more fun as kids. I wish I could play this.

I think the Saturn has a more pleasant art style on the whole, there's some really nice translucent textures that didn't make it over to the PC/GC versions.
Traveller's Tales did a great job making an engine for the hardware this game is running on. It's such a shame they wasted it on this poor excuse. Sonic R has a love-it-or-hate-it appeal, don't get me wrong. This game would've been better if they put more effort on the gameplay would've had more content.
Ill have to play this on my pc. Too bad i cant play it on my wii u because the yabause-wii emulator is awful. They probably did a good job, since saturn emulation is hard, but that doesnt change the fact that its unplayable.
