Omri, you are an absolute world-class synthesist, arranger, and instructor. Your videos have provided so much patching inspiration, and after years of applying myself, I am STILL learning new things (and gaining deeper understanding of things I know) by watching you. This vid should go in your greatest hits.
I'm loving the per-channel modulation, so much fun. If you plug a polycon into the speed input of a vult caudal, each output becomes a polyphonic chaotic oscillator. Using that with surge xt and bogaudio stuff makes some really big noises in a small package.
Top comment! That Polycon trick is my favourite technique, but I usually use it with LFOs or Bogaudio Walk for randomness. Never thought of using Caudal. You could also patch each of the 12 poly outputs into a split, and get up to 184 mono CV mod outputs. I may have to try this now 😂
Thanks so much, as always Omri. The way you do what you do.... It not only makes me feel more confident trying these techniques, but also to 'hijack' these ideas into other modules and configurations. Inspiring man, Thanks again.
Omri's most informative video probably? A lot of valuable stuff here. Perhaps to be objective I would have to recall the previous great ones, but I'm impressed!
just wanna say, been delving into your videos lately for some school project, and its incredible how well layed out, and paced they are, really appreciate it!
Such amazing textures, always learning something new from your ambient videos! The sapphire collection is so fun to work with. Mixing frolic and glee with a slow random lfo creates some interesting patterns great for generative ambient
Dang, Omri, this is the best one in a while. You are truly a natural teacher. Another cool patch for my collection! Question- how do you make a duplicated module appear at the end of the row instead of next to the duplicated module?
Thank you Omri this was amazing and very clear as allways! I was just yesterday experimenting with chaos as pitch info but it didnt quite work as i wanted, but the trigger button and the attenuator on the quantizer solved those problems. Thank you so very much for still making these videos!
Such a nice ambient patch and so many cool little techniques you shared 🙏. I’m going to try this with MI stages via the alt firmware on my hardware rack. Bunch of chaotic cv available with that module.
Really lovely atmosphere! It is a set of very nice pulsating, almost breathing modulation sources. It feels organic. Your creativity is infectious and inspiring!
Nice one Omri, filter pings and polyphonic modulation - two of my all time favourite techniques. You can also make the filter pings poly for a thicker texture although it does smash your CPU! I make tons of patches like that and just sample it to add to other projects. 👍
I really liked this one! I've been struggling recently because my computer died and it's already been three weeks and it's still not fixed (they repaired it once but it's still broken). The frustration of not being able to run my music software is awful. However, I can still pick up ideas and get inspired, ready for when the crisis is over! Meanwhile, part of me wishes I had more hardware modular gear to play with. At least boxes and cables don't "crash" or get corrupted :-| At least, simple ones don't...
Really good (As always). Are you able to leave the patch run for 5ish minutes at the end of your videos? It would be nice to just sit in the space that has been created.

Such an incredible patch. I love all the “just for fun” moments.
Glad you enjoy it!
Loving this chaos ❤ visualization adds a sweet eyecandy 🎉

Super great demo. Thanks! I love these new chaos modules from Sapphire. Some of the most inspiring generative music I've heard.
Amazing as usual!
I love these patches from scratch, so much to learn from them.
Thanks, Omri!❤
Thanks so much!

Question- how do you make a duplicated module appear at the end of the row instead of next to the duplicated module?
Thanks! I have Smart Rearrangement turned off, so it will not push modules when duplicated.
@@OmriCohen-Music Aha! Thanks!
Great stuff as always! Very inspiring! Cheers!

Glad it was helpful!
Not only is this patch gorgeous, but I learned a neat shortcut for connecting modules. 💖 Thank you for all that you do!
Cheers!
Yes this was a big realisation for me as well 🎉
Cool ambient track...you are a very creative person....

I really love the sequential switch technique - a really elegant technique
I've been using similar (carousel and a gate) to make an arp. This looked to take much less space
Patching becomes an art form in Omri's hands. The music is great too. What a combination. Thank you.
Wow, thank you!
So much random movement.every case should have some Chaos ❤Cheers
Thank you, Omri!
These Sapphire modules are very interesting and with your knowledge they acquire another dimension...
Thanks!

you are truely a wizard

Great tip!
"very nice"
It always is mate, it always is.
No way my man is using chaos theory for ultra cool sounds, Next up fractals? :P You absolute unit, keep it coming!
Cheers!
great patch, love it, thx man
Thanks, Wim!
I'm again impressed with such an ease you do that well sounding patches (in only 20 minutes). 🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄💯
Thanks!
Very nice 🙂
Thanks

Yeah, the more "stupid" the machine is, the less chance it has to go kaputt :) I hope things will work out soon!
Really good (As always).

Thanks! I'm always afraid my videos are already too long...

Awesome demo as always!
Unfortunately I updated by accident vcv and now those skz quantisers stopped outputting signal
